That is a myth going around the blogs.. Hastert didn't have the IMs, only heard about the e-mails which weren't damning.. Hastert immediately contacted the parents who requested this didn't blow up.. add this to the content of the e-mails and you can understand Hastert's actions better.. The left wing blogs are trying to imply he also had the IMs- which by all accounts he didn't..
