FLORIDA NEEDS TAX RELIEF
TAMPA, FL— Congresswoman Katherine Harris, the Republican candidate for United States Senate launched a targeted effort this morning to inform Florida voters of how Bill Nelson has worked against tax relief for our families and businesses. Standing in front of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, Katherine Harris reminds voters that she is the only candidate in this race who will fight to reduce taxes and government spending so that people can keep more of their hard-earned money.
“My opponent has voted against tax cuts time and time again, opting to funnel more of our wages to a bloated federal government. When I am Florida’s next U.S. Senator, I will vote to cut taxes and confront wasteful spending through a fair tax system.”
Bill Nelson has a record of preventing income taxes from being lowered, he has voted against marriage penalty tax relief, and he has earned the title “Enemy of the Taxpayer” by the National Taxpayer’s Union. Our opponent has even voted against tax credits for small business owners to purchase health insurance for their employees and against legislation aimed at eliminating the onerous tax on Social Security.
Katherine Harris, the Republican Candidate for the United States Senate, currently serves as the Representative for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. After receiving a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, she continued a distinguished career in public service to her native state that began in the State Senate and as Florida’s last elected Secretary of State. She resides in Longboat Key with her husband Anders Ebbeson and his 24-year-old daughter, Louise along with the constituents of District thirteen.

She appears to have a conservative agenda, and is their candidate. Yet, the only thing I hear from her republican opposition is, "I won't support her because she doesn't have any support!" It's crazy and doesn't make much sense.
It's disgusting how many people around here have not only not supported KH, but have actively done much to torpedo her chances.
Everyone who doesn't want the ultraliberal Bill Nelson in the U.S. Senate should go to the Harris website and donate more money, now. I just did, again. It takes tons of cash to pay for TV ads. We need fewer lunatic Democrats in office in order to get more conservative judges, avoid higher taxes, win the war on terror, protect 2nd amendment rights, prevent abortions on demand, and to keep this country from turning into a socialist, Clintonista failure.

Rep Katherine Harris does very much have a chance of winning this race for the U.S. Senate against lackluster incumbent Nelson .
Just because he served for multiple trms in the House, does not mean he has a lock on his Senate seat !
Katherine's chances are better now, way better than they were just a month ago .
If she wins this race, she will have THE LAST LAUGH . . .
If she wins her run for the U.S. Senate, then it means an even greater chance for Republicans to not only hold on to the number of Congressional Seats they have now, but to actually make some gains in the House and Senate at the DemoCRATS expense . . . .

We have to be honest and face facts. Nelson is VERY well seated and has the option of phoning in this race from a vaction spot in the bahamas. It is his to loose.

Oh c'mon man, he is just a one time senator, though he has been elected to lower office several times .
Harris has made some impressive(though not decisive)gains in recent polls after the primaries .
She is polling within eight points of Nelson who is not about to go below 50% - - not good at all for him !
He he goes on a vacation now, HE WILL LOSE ! !
If goes out and really campaigns, he will win . . .
There is no likelyhood that Katherine Harris will win this election !
It does not matter - - for the only poll that counts, is the one on election day !
Harris has a chance, but she must pull ahead of Nelson by the end of October .
If Nelson stays at or above 50% in the opinion poll surveys, then he wins ~ ~
but a lot can happen in the next thirty days . . . . . . . .
