FLORIDA NEEDS TAX RELIEF

TAMPA, FL— Congresswoman Katherine Harris, the Republican candidate for United States Senate launched a targeted effort this morning to inform Florida voters of how Bill Nelson has worked against tax relief for our families and businesses. Standing in front of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, Katherine Harris reminds voters that she is the only candidate in this race who will fight to reduce taxes and government spending so that people can keep more of their hard-earned money.

“My opponent has voted against tax cuts time and time again, opting to funnel more of our wages to a bloated federal government. When I am Florida’s next U.S. Senator, I will vote to cut taxes and confront wasteful spending through a fair tax system.”

Bill Nelson has a record of preventing income taxes from being lowered, he has voted against marriage penalty tax relief, and he has earned the title “Enemy of the Taxpayer” by the National Taxpayer’s Union. Our opponent has even voted against tax credits for small business owners to purchase health insurance for their employees and against legislation aimed at eliminating the onerous tax on Social Security.

Katherine Harris, the Republican Candidate for the United States Senate, currently serves as the Representative for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. After receiving a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, she continued a distinguished career in public service to her native state that began in the State Senate and as Florida’s last elected Secretary of State. She resides in Longboat Key with her husband Anders Ebbeson and his 24-year-old daughter, Louise along with the constituents of District thirteen.

Why don't you also send a little of "green" stuff her way yourself???

Because I don't think she has a prayer. Let the people of Florida fund her.

Cheap skin!

You can be very sure that we are funding her, but then please don't interfere with Florida's business or as being an enabler for the "ass-naut" cadet b.n.'s campaign as you truly are!!

Then just go back to DU, where you come from and where you belong!!!

Forward, the Light Brigade!" Was there a man dismay'd?

Not tho' the soldier knew

Someone had blunder'd:

Their's not to make reply,

Their's not to reason why,

Their's but to do and die:

Into the valley of Death

Rode the six hundred.

Let's please use the Katharine Harris fiasco as a lesson for the future instead of blindly riding into the jaws of death.

Here it seems that we have a "NEW" FReeper deadwood!??!

These are apparently verses from his OWN funeral!

Go Kathy, GO!!!

Had a couple of comments about Howdy Doody being a childhood favorite, etc, lol. Didn't want to ruin their memories.......

If that's all it took to ruin memories,
what kind of memories did they have? lol

I thought it was a great comparison.

Nelson = Howdy Doody

You are right about that.

You might, also, use the word "humorless".

Oh my goodness, I've pissed you off and you're condemning me to the nether world. Oh how will I ever live with your disapproval? Well if I'm such a liberal by pointing out that Harris will be roadkill come November then what does that make people who support Democrats over Republican candidates? Should I invite President Bush to join me over on DU since he prefers Lieberman over Schlesinger in Connecticut? We DU spies are everywhere I guess?

You want to support Harris, go right ahead. Want to send her money, be my guest. But don't be surprised if she loses in the fall.

The way to ease the tax burden is to ship the illegals HOME! Every one says "You can't round them up in trucks and deport them". Why? I'll pay for the gas if it saves a few tax dollars too..
