Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean came to Austin Tuesday to rally Democrats.
"We are going to take back Texas. And we're going to do it before we take back other states we've lost the last 15-20 years," Dean said during the rally.
The former Presidential candidate fired up the troops at Scholz Garten in downtown Austin.
Dean predicts statewide and nationally Democrats will make big gains in November. He says between the war in Iraq and deficit, the Republicans have taken the country in the wrong direction.
Awe! You beat me to it. Come and take it Mr. Dean.

Funny how the 100 person turnout wasn't mentioned in this puff piece.
The Germans have some really odd idioms. If we don't like something in this country, we say "it sucks". In Germany they would say it is "für den Arsch" or "for the ass". I never could figure that one out.

The bad thing is, Ann Retards would never been governor of Texas if Clayton Williams hadn't shot his mouth off with the rape comment.

While I do agree Clayton shot himself in the foot, I don't Ann did a bad job. And she was cute on that Harley.
I am a native born Texan. My ancestors came here when Texas belonged to Mexico, and they fought for Texas independence. I can assure Dr. Dean that General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna will take back Texas before the Democrats will! (That's just my way of saying not a snowball's chance in Hell.)
