I'm not too sure about liberals being more restul sleepers than conservatives.
Conservatives have more children than liberals. A 2-month-old screaming in a bassinet at the foot of your bed does not do much to promote sound sleep.

Dream Real world a strange, scary place for liberals.
To: Kaslin
" liberals are more restless sleepers and have a higher number of bizarre, surreal dreams -- including fantasy settings and a wide variety of sexual encounters. Conservatives' dreams were, on average, far more mundane and focused on realistic people, situations and settings. "
Bwahahha, no sh*t!

Overall, conservative males appear to sleep the most soundly and remember the fewest dreams, while liberal women are the most restless sleepers and fantastical dreamers.
Interesting. I almost never dream at all, or if I do, I almost never remember them.

Best line:
"While some of my colleagues think my research reinforces the stereotype of repressed, uptight conservatives, it also shows that many liberals may he hanging on the edge of mental well-being," Mr. Bulkeley said. "There may be a lot of hidden distress and unpleasantness in the liberal mind."
Liberalism is a mental disease.

It is said that that everyone dreams. But how would anyone know? I dream very seldom and I don't recall any weird dreams

Interesting. I almost never dream at all, or if I do, I almost never remember them. Same here. I maybe remember one dream a year, and then it's only if i had to get up and go to the bathroom..........

Mr. Bulkeley said that the most surprising result in his study is that conservatives showed a higher tendency for lucid dreaming -- being aware they were asleep. Conservatives largely reported using their "dream awareness" to wake themselves up from uncomfortable situations and nightmares, he said.
Overall, conservative males appear to sleep the most soundly and remember the fewest dreams, while liberal women are the most restless sleepers and fantastical dreamers.
I wake myself from bad dreams this way. And I hardly ever remember a dream. OTOH, the dreams I do recall can be wildly imaginative and odd though not a lot of sex dreams compared to other people.
I guess I really am a dull conservative type.

There may be a lot of hidden distress and unpleasantness in the liberal mind.Prima facie evidence, I'd say:

To the edge of mental well-being? They have already fallen off the cliff.
