Today President Bush traveled to Memphis, Tennessee to attend a campaign fundraiser for Senate Candidate Bob Corker. This evening he is hosting a dinner for Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai and Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf to focus attention on the need to work together to defeat terrorism, with an emphasis on the shared interests of both leaders. (A few prayers would be in order for wisdom for our President during this dinner, I think......)
It continues to be a good time to support this President, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!

I only heard the press conf yesterday. Today I watched it on the WH website. I was trying to watch GWB when Pr. Karzai was giving his most eloquent answer to the first question. The screen was small, but it looked to me like he was biting his cheek--I suspect he was incredibly pleased with the answer but trying not to show it too much. Did anyone else get a better view?
Thanks, as always, Deb for your work.

Thank you, Ohio, for the sacrifice you and your family make for our country. I do not take it for granted.

***So, of course, he's thinking maybe if you didn't wear such short shorts.....***
Altura, that's hysterical.
Well, the advice columnists keep telling people to join a church if they want to meet moral people. Guess they forgot to tell them to dress like a moral lady (or a gentlemanly guy) when they go to church meetings or services.

If we post to you that day, you'll see it.

I've seen videoclips from many different sources and all of them have only shown the President's back only -- bummer!
Actually, I would have loved to see the President's face when Karzai was praising the soldiers he had met at Walter Reed (particularly the mother of 6 boys) . . . Knowing our president, I'm sure he was fighting back the tears!!
