yeah.. but i must admit.. I'm new here. i see "ping" alot.. but what does it mean/ do?
i ask because I'm planning on being at the lunchen on 10-03-06.

"Ping" just means that you'll see the thread on your "My Comments" page.
If we post to you that day, you'll see it.

If you click on "Post Reply" and say bump or ping, the post will appear on your Ping List (look in the upper right hand corner of the screen). If it's BOLD, click on it and see. You're probably seeing it right now!
You can even ping yourself. I do, and use it like a reminder of something I want to read later.
Bump or bttt means "bump to the top" of your pings list.
