Owens left the hospital late Wednesday morning, giving reporters a "thumbs up" but making no comment as he was driven away in an SUV.
Publicist Kim Etheredge said in various interviews Wednesday with Dallas-area media that the police have gotten the story wrong. She said she was with Owens, who was having trouble because he'd

Did anyone see the Bill Parcels news conference a few minutes ago? He was asked dozens of questions, and had the same reply for every one: "I know nothing" (said many different ways).

This wasn't a suicide attempt.
T.O. was just auditioning for one of those mexican soap operas.

Just from the little I have read of his story this afternoon, my first thoughts were bipolar as well. Also, pain meds (for the broken finger) could trigger depression. I know that steriods are forbidden in the NFL, but I wonder about the affects of 'natural' type body/muscle building compounds on the brain chemistry of someone who is bi-polar.

Just another moron trying to get attention. If he was serious about killing himself, he'd have driven his Explorer into a freeway stanchion at 110 MPH. T.O. is the worst attention whore since Deion Sanders.

Sounds like Dennis Rodman in the Detroit arena parking lot with the gun.
TO is nutty. Maybe he should start coloring his hair, wearing dresses and marrying MTV reporterettes. Seems to have stabilized Rodman.

When I was first given pain med, years ago, couldn't tell time of day or how much time had passed. If a friend had not accidentally been with me, may have OD. Knew I was in pain and knew the tablets were for pain. Was ready to take the second within minutes of the first, but the friend intervened. Let's not judge until we get the entire story. Pain meds can cause some people to do "crazy things"!

Yep.
Some women slit their wrist, but, women don't generally care for a violent or bloody way out. With men however, they usually choose eating a bullet. Coarse way to say it, but...

Hello, Everyone:
And while we're at it . . . is T.O. a wholly owned subsidary of ESPN? Right now they're covering this like it was an assassination attempt on President Bush.
