What a nice little hit piece.

Shows that you Romney-haters are getting nervous out there.

Not a single quote where Romney says he's pro choice, so instead you folks just decide for him what he means by the quotes you can find, then say he lied about it.

Did you learn that at DU?

Either find a quote where he calls himself pro-choice, or admit you cant, and that by calling him a liar, it is YOU who is lying.

Be against the man if you wish, but cant you do any better than to put words in his mouth that he didn't say?

I'll be laughing at you in 2008 when Romney wins.

What do the words "pro-choice" mean?

Genius, i'm hardly a DU Troll. And i don't hate romney, he's second on my list. Read the actual article if you want to see romney is pro choice, if you hadn't notice because your blinders were on, it said this was an excerpt.

here's a few in the actual article if you were interested:

"I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time when my Mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a U.S. Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years that we should sustain and support it, and I sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice."

"I respect and will fully protect a woman's right to choose. That choice is a deeply personal one, and the women of our state should make it based on their beliefs, not mine and not the government's."
-Mitt Romney in a 2002 GOP acceptance speech

Gubernatorial candidates Shannon O'Brien and Mitt Romney sparred yesterday over who was the strongest abortion rights supporter by touting endorsements from abortion rights groups and challenging each other's records on the issue..."There isn't a dime of difference between Mitt Romney's position on choice and [NARAL-endorsed] Shannon O'Brien," said Kerry Healey, Romney's running mate. Lynn Grefe, director of the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, applauded Romney's "commitment to family planning and protecting a woman's right to choose" in a letter on Wednesday.

Romney has plenty of other socially liberal quotes and various other things, its silly of you to stick your head in the ground and pretend they never happened. My point was, romney should have just admitted he said he was pro choice in the past and has changed his mind, instead he wobbled around and claimed he never had that label.

It took Google .29 seconds to find MANY sites.

Here's a quotation from

Issues 2000 website

He said the abortion made him see "that regardless of one's beliefs about choice, you would hope it would be safe and legal." Source: Joe Battenfeld in Boston Herald Oct 26, 1994

Yes, it is a hit piece. Just like a smokers' group might run a hit piece on Bloomberg. It happens to be an accurate hit piece.

It's a hit piece from Red State--Which makes it even sadder.

Romney is tough on Terrorism, fiscally conservative, pro-family. Romney says he is Pro Life. I believe him.

Go Mitt Go!!!

"Not a single quote where he calls himself pro-choic..."

***"I respect and will fully protect a woman's right to choose. That choice is a deeply personal one, and the women of our state should make it based on their beliefs, not mine and not the government's."?-Mitt Romney in a 2002 GOP acceptance speech***

You find a difference in "a woman's right to choose," and "a pro-choice"? Kindly explain the difference in the two terms to me.

In Massachusetts, Romney abdicated to Democrats.
Romney abdicated to the "Big Dig".
He is such a major-wus that when the Democrats allowed
him to take over the Big Dig recently after the roof fell down
in the tunnel killing a women, Romney actually let the perp continue
for weeks AND let the perp thereafter award himself further pensions
and perp-rewards and perp-gifts (as well as to his cronies).

America would be in big trouble with this chameleon-RINO.
Romney belongs with the DNC (functionally speaking).

Waitasec. He said in 1994 that 'abortion should be "safe and legal in this country."' He said in 2002 ""I respect and will fully protect a woman's right to choose. That choice is a deeply personal one, and the women of our state should make it based on their beliefs, not mine and not the government's."

Are you honestly trying to say here that these aren't pro-choice quotes?

So many targets so little time. McCain, Guiliani, Romney all in the cross hairs. Leaving the field to No body, No one, Mr. Marginal, and the Unheard of.

"Shows that you Romney-haters are getting nervous out there."

I am no hard core supporter of the governor of my state. I do think that he is a whole lot better than any of the real likely alternatives.

Whatever, the BS that is coming out about Romney is striking. There is absolutely NOBODY in this state that seriously believes Romney is pro-choice.

He is getting slammed on FR.com by a lot of people who must have some agenda that involves Mitt not getting the nomination.
