I think this was very common amoung white kids 30 years ago. In fact it is very common today.
If only Allen had been an active member of the Klan, like Robert Byrd, the media might leave him alone.
Looks like Allen is getting Furmaned!
LOL, the NYT bathhouse boys have lost their minds, again.
I thought this thread would be about Byrd.
I heard he picked his nose in public once in 1973.
Oh good grief!! Will everybody just grow up and stop all this silliness!! So he might have said something 30 years ago; get over it!! This is really getting tiring.
What I can't believe is that anyone would seriously think this should make a difference as to whether or not to vote for a person. Is the "mushy middle" really so brainless?
Sounds like a completely unconfirmed accusation from a self-described "active democrat" sent by email to the NYT, so of course it's good enough to print.
The NYT doesn't seem concerned at all that their "reputation" is now just a false, fading memory. I think even Star magazine corroborates stories once in a while.
I don't remember Juanita Broderick or Kathleen Wiley getting the same sort of "straight to the presses" treatment for their accusations.
Why don't they just fire their writers and print the daily DU comments as news?
He used to light his farts back in his college days while dressed in black face too.
How come black politicians aren't asked about the times they called whites honkey, cracker or white devil?
I only really care if this woman found any pubic hairs on a Coke can or not /s/.
Honestly, who cares what someone said thirty years ago?Hillary called someone an F'g JB--no harm, no foul.
This unending bunch of "garbage stories"--macaca, Jewish background, n-word use--these journalists should be ashamed to call themselves professionals. This type of reporting just confirms the bias of the writers against a Republican candidate.
The Sink Emperor and Her Thighness established new thresholds for criticism. Nothing they did or said could be bad or evil.
This is just a concerted Demon effort to short circuit Allen in any fashion possible.
---"Mrs. Hawkins, who described herself as a rural Virginia housewife and an active Democrat"---
This line sums up exactly why this article should not have been printed at all.
Smoking pot and having an affair used to disqualify people from public office and now the MSM want to make using the N-Bomb a disqualification for office.
I am sure Bill Clinton growing up in Arkansas and Al Gore in tenessee alos utterer that word.
Such revelations after so many years --- why didn't these dastardly allegation emerge in previous campaigns?
Can Webb and his team stoop any lower?
NIGGER, there I said the "N word" in 2006. I guess it will come to haunt me in 2042 when I am running for hall monitor at the old folks home. Gee, GMAFB!
NYT? LOL!
