CALLING ALL INFIDELS!
Savage has lost his mind - one day he applauds the Bush Admin for fighting the good fight, then the very next day he's screaming that Bush and his cronies are idiots losing this war. Which one is it, Michael?
He's totally inconsistent and impossible to listen to, which is too bad, because he can bring up some pretty good points.
Infidel present here!
LOL! Roll call!
I just loved the segment yesterday on biblical phrases and literary titles tying back to Shakespeare. Wish Mike coulda done it all three hours.
And the funny thing is, he's exquisitely sensitive to OTHERS doing just that to him...! Even when they manifestly have not.
I used to feel for Michael when he'd decry the treachery of the UC Berkeley academic left, because I'd suffered so much of it myself.
Now what do I feel? NOTHING.
More importantly, I don't listen.
I assume you haven't been listening for the past several weeks, cause it has been a while since I've heard Savage commend President Bush for the war in Iraq. Not the war itself, but how it has been conducted.
Infidel present here!
Yep. INFIDEL and proud of it!!!
Go Mike!
Good evening, infidels.
While I still listen and enjoy at times, I don't take Savage as seriously since he cut off his email.
Yeah, that was pretty interesting. I was unable to listen to all of the show last night, so were the callers able to name at least ten literary references?
Welcome, CF!
What Michael has been saying is more or less that although we carried out a brilliant campaign to "conquer Iraq" and capture Saddam, our followup has been abysmal. We lack common sense in connection with using our technology to ensure minimal casualties. Where is the use of the MOAB? Why did we not cordon off the Sunni Triangle, drop leaflets, and then carpet bomb that miserable hell hole when USA contractors were murdered and their charred bodies dragged through the streets? Why are we using the word of the enemy to persecute our own (Pendleton 8 & others)?
IMO, the war would be over if we had decisively gone in there. It seems that the enemy is willing to die for their cause, but we are not willing to respond in equal measure. We are making the same political mistakes that we made in Vietnam where we let the leftists in this country take over and wave the white flag, giving victory to the Communists. The MSM says little about its responsibility for Pol Pot and the killing fields; they just continue with their steady drum beat to destroy America.
Savage claiming the Chris Wallace/Bill Klintoon interview was staged. Bit of a stretch there, Michael.
hmmm if you don't listen, maybe the Savage Nation live thread is not the place for you.
Well put, olezip!
Welcome, BSB & RB!
