I agree that the President had no choice but to declassify this information to the extent he did, however it is a shame that it was brought to this point and politicized by the left. The POTUS no matter who he is cannot continually be put in the position of exposing his tools to the enemy.

I agree. The assessment could have been a little more pointed as to why the jihadists are "adapting to counterterrorism efforts." - see my suggested edit below.
