Not how I see it.
Let me guess, Palestinian children bombers?
Wasn't the Gordon Lightfoot rammed by the Cat Stevens on Lake Superior?
"a children's charity campaigner."
Raising money for exploding belts, Cat?
Shut up and sing!
For added reference on Cat Stevens, the Islamist here's a column from 2004:

I think that soon after Stevens was denied entry into the USA, I saw
a line in a Los Angeles Times article about an Islamic from Morocco that
was wanted for supporting various terrorist actions.
Buried in the middle of the article was a "by the way" mention that
Cat Stevens was buddies with this fellow from way-back-in-the-day.
Might have had something to do with the denial of entry in to the USA
for Cat Stevens.
If Snoopy had become a follower of Mohammed, most likely Charles Shultz would have named him "Joe Islam".
This is too funny. Cat Stevens reveals his utter ignorance about papal infallibility, and then recommends that the Pope read up on islam. Catholics will know, of course, that papal infallibility is strictly limited to matters of Christian faith and morals, (what Christians need to know about salvation), and that otherwise he is utterly fallible in every way.
In any case, the Pope doesn't need to read anything but the daily newspapers to understand how violent, oppressive and barbaric islam is. How many of them have threatened his life just because he briefly quoted a 13th century emporer? Through his words and islam's response to them, Pope Benedict proved that the 13th century Christian Emporer was right, islam is evil and inhumane.
This from the guy that agrees with the Fatwa on Salman Rushdie.
I have heard lots of Baptist minister bashing the Pope before.. big deal
That doctrine is SO misunderstood. It doesn't cover every statement a Pope makes about anything. The doctrine only applies to a Church teaching that the Pope is promulgating in conjunction with the Cardinals and Bishops of the Church, or in other words, the Magesterium.
But just because the Pope's comments at Regensburg were not an infallible statement, doesn't mean they weren't still the truth.
Sounds like that Catholic school didn't teach Cat very well.
Oh my yes, I'd believe cat islam yusef over the Pope when it comes to fallibilty /sarc
The Pope is a human creature. Therefore, he is a sinner and fallible. It would be bad for Roman Catholics to think otherwise.
who gives a crap what this has been nobody thinks about anything??? geesh.
A man can surrender to a religion like Islam only if he has no desire to think for himself anymore. Cat Stevens has no original thoughts now; he's just another Muslim who puppets the party line.
Has Cat Stevens criticized Islamic violence?
[But he added that the pope's comments on Islam showed he was fallible..
Not how I see it.]
Not how I see it either. I posted this thought when this story first broke, that the left wants to somehow "discredit" the Pope and question him on other points too, including doctrine. The logic being, if Pope Benedict is somehow "wrong" on this, well then, he's "wrong" on other points too, such as abortion, same-sex "marriage", women clergy, and other traditional points of Roman Catholic Doctrine.. Pathetic and shameful.
This guy Cat Stevens - what exactly has he done since he converted to Islam?
**crickets**
NOTHING.
Wiat a minute here. You mean Cat used to be a Christian? And he converted to Islam? And nobody decreed that he should be klled?
What's up with THAT?
