Thought it would be a good idea to discuss the upcoming interview where we already know Clinton loses it with Wallacae here. I for one am anxious to see it.
What about total lack of personal pain that other people might feel about their serious failures and shortcomings? Wouldn't that indicate a sociopath?
You are so right about Clintoon not caring about UBL. He didn't even know how to pronounce his name right - as shown in actual footage in the movie.
He says in the interview that he wanted to go in with special forces to get bin Laden and oust the Taliban BEFORE 9/11. That would have started a war! Now, all these Anti Iraq War people... I find it hard to believe that they would have been for that war even though it might have prevented 9/11! It makes me wonder how many 9/11s that we are preventing by being in Iraq that we DON'T know about.
(This was my first post... please go easy on me =)
Welcome---and good first post! Keep it up!
You make an excellent point: if Klintoon had done all he said he was trying to do, we would have had to go to war---and his supporters don't even support the war we have now, AFTER 9/11!
Does he really think we are stupid enough to believe he would have had the guts to go to war or that his political base would have supported him in it?
Thanks!
That was the first thing I thought when I heard him say that. I was like, "Wait a minute! Back up! What did he say??" Crazy.
I love how he throws around Clarke's book but it makes me wonder whether he has actually READ any of it especially after hearing some of Rush's comments today. In particular, the quotes Rush read from the book in regards to Clarke REQUESTING a new position. I think 'Toon hears (and sees and reads) what 'Toon wants to hear just like the rest of his party.
I think this meltdown by the Sinkmeister could end up being one of the important tipping points in this election cycle, leading all the way up to the presidential election.
And you're right: Clarke said the Klintoon administration had NO PLAN on bin Laden, that's why he did not brief the Bush administration on the plan---there was NO PLAN.
"We should send Chris Wallace some Cigars. He did a great job of smokin' Bubba! Let's reward him."
Good idea! And Chris Wallace didn't have to do much other than stay calm...
Definitely. Between this, gas prices coming down (obviously a right wing conspiracy ::eyes roll::), and hopefully confirmed news about bin Laden's death, the elections should go quite well in my opinion. The next thing i want to hear about is that the markets have achieved new all time highs.
hahahahah --- every time we drive by a gas station and the prices are down lower and lower, my Rush babies squeal, "oh, that rascally Bush!!"
Congratulations to President Clinton for doing his homework and for pointing out the outrageous bias of Fox News against the Clinton-Gore administration, with its unblemished record of peace and prosperity for 8 short years.
Nice try, but gas prices during the Clinton-Gore administration were only $1.15. Until the price of gas falls another $2 per gallon the Bush administration has nothing to brag about, particularly when their war in Iraq has all but eliminated pre-war exports to the U.S. of 2 million barrels per day.
Uh, you missed the point of my comment.
It was exactly the opposite of the Bush administration having "something to brag about."
It went to the idea the moonbats advance that Bush is manipulating oil prices for various personal/political reasons when, in fact, an American president has little to do with oil prices on the world market.
IOW, it's the Rush babies' sarcasm, saying "oh, there goes that rascally Bush manipulating oil prices again for personal/political gain."
And, you know, your comment strikes me as rather troll-like.
Plus I would rather pay more for gas and engage the process of making our country more secure than have cheap gas and an stupid, arrogant, irresponsible arrested-development adolescent in the White HOuse. But that's just me.
Chris Wallace interview with Sean Hannity...
CW: "He (Clinton) was out of control"
Hahaha good one. He should have actually read Richard Clarke's book.
You're too funny! I thought about chopping off that creepy thing then saying, THERE, now don't you ever again wave that stupid little finger, you bubble-eyed BOZO...
Wow! Just hearing what happened Sunday on Fox over the radio. Wish I'd seen it. This is the real Clinton - a threatening low life bully.
I always thought the character of J. R. Ewing from "Dallas",
looked like and was modeled after Bill Clinton.
I saw it - but think I heard that Fox has the video on their site that you can watch online.
I didn't check - since I already saw it.
I've thought that same thing at times. I'm sure Clinton loved and admired the character. J.R. was an excellent example of a cheat, a liar, and a thief...
