Nice try, but gas prices during the Clinton-Gore administration were only $1.15. Until the price of gas falls another $2 per gallon the Bush administration has nothing to brag about, particularly when their war in Iraq has all but eliminated pre-war exports to the U.S. of 2 million barrels per day.
Uh, you missed the point of my comment.
It was exactly the opposite of the Bush administration having "something to brag about."
It went to the idea the moonbats advance that Bush is manipulating oil prices for various personal/political reasons when, in fact, an American president has little to do with oil prices on the world market.
IOW, it's the Rush babies' sarcasm, saying "oh, there goes that rascally Bush manipulating oil prices again for personal/political gain."
And, you know, your comment strikes me as rather troll-like.
Plus I would rather pay more for gas and engage the process of making our country more secure than have cheap gas and an stupid, arrogant, irresponsible arrested-development adolescent in the White HOuse. But that's just me.
UY's!
