papaWallace thought he had the interview of the decade when he interviewed Imadanmnutjob but his son truly got the interview of all time when he got an out of control nutjob of a former president.

Maybe Hume and Wallace have some compassion for the man. He was a President of the U.S. In relation to the Clinton interview, it spoke for itself. Why pile on.

It's a tossup... but it does improve her swiness' chances either way. I'm not sure exactly which one hates conservatives more... McCainiac or the Red Queen from Chappaqua.

We all know there is a long long way between pledges and actual donations. This is all nothing more than slick willie trying to divert attention from our beloved President's speech at the UN.

I still shake my head that Clinton sent the FBI to Yemen to investigate the Cole bombing. The wall explains it, in a way, but I have yet to see President Bush sending the FBI around the world to investigate actions.
To: Morgan in Denver
Morgan, I have posted this often enough but will post it again-if the CIA or the military captures a jihadist, and said jihadist trips a geiger counter, he has info that is time sensitive and the need to extract this info is vital to the security of the Nation and indeed the world. I dont advocate wanton torture for the hell of it, but measures that need to be taken, HAVE TO BE TAKEN. A couple of broken fingers versus a radiated Saint Louis, seems a small price to pay. I have held my nose and rationalized the need to keep the RINOs for 2006. But I stop short of endorsing anyone who does not understand the fundamental fact I have outlined above. McCain and Graham are who I refer to..

If I may be so bold, check out my preview thread that is usually posted Friday night or Saturday morning. I get the listing of who's going to be on and what the listed topics are, then do some net searches for articles and background on the guests. I'm hoping to give folks a head start on who they are and what they might be pushing by appearing on the shows. Phsstpok, Your preview thread IS terrific! You're not boasting one bit. Everyone on the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread should first read Phsstpok's preview thread. Superb "show prep."

Mara is a doofus, as is anyone who works for NPR.
Yes, but out of the mouths of Bush doubters we can perhaps get a glimpse of their usually repressed notions of common sense. She staggered around and finally made these telling comments during her punditry:
1. There have been no demonstrably successful attacks on the US homeland since the invasion of Iraq.
2. The Iraq and Afghanistan incursions have provided fronts on which to fight the terrorists.
I believe that the thinking public is aware of these points to a degree that will render the NIE report a non-factor in the majority's minds.
