Yes, but out of the mouths of Bush doubters we can perhaps get a glimpse of their usually repressed notions of common sense. She staggered around and finally made these telling comments during her punditry:
1. There have been no demonstrably successful attacks on the US homeland since the invasion of Iraq.
2. The Iraq and Afghanistan incursions have provided fronts on which to fight the terrorists.
I believe that the thinking public is aware of these points to a degree that will render the NIE report a non-factor in the majority's minds.
