...and a bump.
I looked around various sites for more on this Amber Alert and pics of the little girl and the man (related?) who they believe took here, but couldn't find anything beyond the PA Amber Alert:

Thank you both for pinging your lists.
It looks like she was abducted by her father.
Did a search on Yahoo! and Google. No photos.
Wish they would give their justification for issuing an amber alert when it's the father who has the child. That's not the way the system is designed to work!
Prayers for the child...and that God would lay it heavy on the fathers heart to return the child unharmed.
I agree. Unless they're saying that "father broke out of prison" or "robbed a gun store before the abduction" etc, how are we all to know why this has escalated to an Amber Alert from a custody dispute?
Perhaps I'm reading too much (or little) into it as well. It's late.

Anyone with information should call 911 immediately.
Is this a custody dispute?
So sad prayers for the little girl and her family.
Re: Custody dispute and why issue an alert with parent capture...see my post # 1. There are some horribly abusive and even homicidal parents out there. In Pennsylvania a local law enforcement agency cannot, on its own, issue the alert. It must go through the Pennsylvania State Police and the request is carefully screened to make certain that there is a dire threat. Crying "wolf" does not happen in the Keystone State.
Thank you for explaining that.
Thank you very much for that explanation. Prayers this little girl is found safe.
