I feel like an idiot here, but where does it say the childen were found in a dryer? I've read the articles linked, but it doesn't say anything about that.
Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but why all the comments about East St. Louis and the racial comments?
Did you guys not watch the news when all these other 'baby-stealing/murder' cases have come up? The suspects have all varied in background. Maybe there IS some cultural trend here but why focus on race only when it involves a black perp?

I agree it seems more to be a cultural trend. I have seen victims and suspects in these cases, all have varied race and backgrounds. I remember a few years back another case in which the victim and suspect were white(don't remember name). I remember the victim met the killer through a dog breeder message board or something like that. These crimes happen in small towns and big cities.
This is a tragedy no matter where the victims lived. The innocent babies and their mother did nothing wrong. These cases are so disturbing to me, since most (not all) of the time the victim already knows the suspect. I hope the jury doesn't fall for any "I had a rough life" defense crap and gives her the death penalty.
