Got five minutes to waste? Sure you do, you wouldnt be here otherwise. So, let me take this post and introduce you to a clip, excerpted from British TV show Top Gear. In it, youll see Jeremy Clarkson, one of the shows hosts, engage in what can only be gently described as sadistic car annihilation. In other words, he shoots some cars with some guns, and its freaking awesome!
Yeah, its got nothing to do with technology or gadgets. But it doesnt matter. Us geeks have diverse and wide-ranging taste, and Im ready to bet youll get a kick out of this.

Ever seen them try to destroy a Toyota pickup?
Top Gear is hands down the best car show around. I can't understand why it's no longer on the Discovery channel. I surely hope Richard Hammond can fully recover from his horrific jet car accident several days ago. He really is lucky to be alive after crashing at ~ 300 mph.
I have seen that episode. It was very funny. Great show!
Bwahahahahaha....
Everyone loves guns.
Question is, how many takes did it take Jeremy to hit each car?
I also wonder where they filmed this? Obviously, it wasn't in England.
Great fun!
I see somebody whining in the comments section.
Ping so I can find this later
Looks like Hammond is out of danger. He took his first steps and was talking

Why not?
Strict gun control laws. He shot off a hand held rocket launcher. Besides, it looked way too sunny to be Englad. But hey, I have been wrong in the past. I might be wrong about this.
Mind you, you're probably right on the weather angle, though we DO have sunny days here, honest!
Thanks for the correction. So, it is legal to have a shot gun or semi auto machine gun as long as it's locked up in secured quarters? And you are right. I do believe TOP GEAR does have ties with the Brit Military, so they might have been at a range.
Given how relatively easy it is to hit a clay pigeon with a shotgun, I'd imagine the first one wah pretty easy, the second one with the machine gun would be a little less easy and the anti tank gun would be pretty hard, I'd imagine.
Would be fun to have such a job doing such destructive things.
BBC is suspending Top Gear and word is that if Richard can't continue, they might cancel the show.
