WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth group was Sen. John Kerry's albatross in 2004. Now, the Democrat is warning his party about suffering the same fate in a fundraising letter.

In 2004, the Swift Boat group, backed by Texas businessman Bob Perry, made unsubstantiated allegations about Kerry's Vietnam War heroism. The presidential nominee's slow and uncertain response is blamed for helping doom his White House bid.

When you have better than 10 to 1 agreement among the vets who where there with Kerry in Vietnam, how is it that their "allegations" remain "unsubstantiated"?

And, how is it that John F. Kerry by his own admission in sworn testimony before Congress has not been charged and prosecuted for "War Crimes" in Vietnam?

Why is Kerry asking others to fight back when he is unwilling to do so himself? If Kerry is telling the truth, then his military records would confirm it. Releasing these records would prove unequivocably that the SwiftBoat Vets are liars. I would suggest to Kerry that he release these records without further delay so that his good name would be cleared.

Go get 'em, Senator Kerry. Release those records and prove to everyone that you were telling the truth all along.

Unsubstantiated allegations? Last I knew there were close to 100 veterans who came forward and signed their names to the those allegations.

What is lacking is not Swiftboat Vet for Truth credibility but an adequate response from John Kerry to squash the allegations if they are indeed untrue.

Nothing surprises me about the MSM

The MSM liars maintained for weeks that the forged documents regarding President Bush's Air National Guard service were accurate. They went to extreme lengths to try to prove that his ANG detachment could have had a typrwriter that could have had the Helvetica font that somehow exactly matched MS Word's Helvetica font that came into existence twenty years after the dates printed on the forged documents.

Of course, if sKerry would simply SIGN THE 180 and release ALL HIS MILITARY RECORDS to the press, without any "scrubbing", I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise.

So far, none of the criticism of sKerry by the Swiftees has been clearly contradicted by clear, unaltered, official records.
