Channel 4 is to broadcast a documentary showing a human corpse being hung on a cross to depict Christ's suffering.

Most of his plastinated people have facial similarities to von Hagens.
Dollars to donuts the crucified body resembles him, too.

This sounds entirely gross. Human bodies aren't for TV-edutainment. Succint and to the point. In my opinion, nothing more need be added to the discussion.

As horrible as it looked in the movie, Mel admitted in an interview to "pulling it back a bit" for the sake of his audience.
It was grotesque enough without adding any further realism to it. I like to see events depicted as historically accurate as possible, but I'm thankful Mel didn't go all the way on this one.

I agree with you. I like comedy and the gore stuff just bores me.

So am I.
Normally I can't sit still long enough to watch a movie in a theater [I fidget] but I felt like I was stapled to the seat during this one.
Never moved once.
