Okay, I hadn't been on the thread most of the day...so I caught up late.

But, I was seeing different posts about all of the good things that happened this week and today, for "our side".

President Bush's speech at the UN, the "compromise" that seems like it went Bush's way, Chrissy Matthews getting ALL upset and practically begging guests on his show to say that McCain "won" the "fight" with Bush over the Geneva Conventions thingy.

OH, and Rangel and Pelosi coming out calling Chavez a thug, and saying that he shouldn't say bad things about "THEIR" POTUS, even though we KNOW that they have done worse. (the thought being that they made themselves look WORSE today).

Oh....and the GOP in the House standing firm on the Border Security first type bill...

All of those things were "good news", and I saw a lot of freepers commenting on what a great day it was...as was I.

Then, the news came out about how the Pentagon pretty much "whitewashed" the Able Danger thing, and threw Lt. Schaeffer under the bus, and possible hurting Rep. Curt Weldon's reelection in the process.

When I said that some "points" would come off "our side"..what a I meant (not very clearly, obviously), was that on our page with a list of "good things" today..on the other side we would have to maybe put this Able Danger news as a deduction from all of the good points.

I meant it like a GAME of making a "pro - con" list.

Like I said, I obviously didn't word what I meant right...even though it made sense in MY head...LOL

I am very sorry if you misunderstood....I really was NOT in any way intending to "put down" our side....I am fully behind it and actually very charged up right now...it is kinda fun to see President Bush making the dems/libs squirm.

Now, that is my story...and I really can't explain it any better ...I hope you understand.

I would prefer that all of the negative things I said to you be erased...and we start over.

"What I don't get is Sen. Warner who ususally backs the WH on stuff like this."

"Senator" Warner - is one of the dimmest bulbs in the Senate Chandlelier....

He looks like a Senator our of Hollywood casting - but lacks the brains to remember his lines. He's been a hand puppet with someone's arm up his arse on most issues.

Dear Senator McCain:

You should consider yourself lucky that you are harassing a descent and honorable man. His predecessor would have sent your plane into the side of a mountain somewhere.

Hillary will be the Republican nominee for President before you are.

Did they decide like Arthur and his knight decided how many seconds to hold the holy hand grenade? I can see the discussion. Verily yea may cut off 3 fingers, no more, no less, the number of fingers being three, and three being the number.

According to whom Freepers? Thank God our Founders understood that laws aren't interpreted by posters, even though SCOTUS is clearly wrong what it says is still the law.

Just proves who hasn't read the Geneva Convention.

Best known for the Katrina shrieking torture.

His coverage did have it's lighter moments. Like the live interview with the guy walking his dog. F-bomb dropped on international TV.
