I love my mom, but she gets all her news from the MSM, and sometimes me. It drives me bonkers! She's not a stupid woman or even particularly moonbat, but it just goes to show that biased reporting has a big effect. She was telling me that the president is "uncaring" and seemingly "unempathetic" to people.
Of course, I know he visits Walter Reed and other military hospitals often, and meets regularly with the families affected by 9-11 and the greater WOT.
What the hell did BJ Clinton do in similar circumstances? I want to show her the difference between the two.
Thanks.
Who gave the speech in congress about the death of his son in Somalia as Clinton played golf? It was a powerfull speech.
Oh yeah. I'll be passing THAT one along!
Clinton visits with the nurses who have cared for the wounded ...usually in bars
Sent to Mom!
Is your mom a Lifetime Television Network viewer ?
I'm sure he visited and recommended an ice pack or two.
LOL. Yeah. Oprah, too, if she's not at work during the day...
Ok I confess... I have no idea what that video is about. Can you please explain. Is it he wiping away 'tears' as he passes the camera just to look sympathetic? If so, where was he?
Have her show you Clinton's remarks from the memorial service for the Waco victims.
I believe the bald guy is Fred Phelps.
Ron Brown's funeral.
What a great poster!
Eventually, after Clinton had sat on the paper work for eight weeks, two of the slain soldiers, Master Sergeant Gary Gordon and Sergeant First Class Randall Shughart, were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. As usual in such cases, the medals were presented to the next of kin.
Following the May 23 presentation at the White House, the families of the two men were invited into the Oval Office for a private visit with Clinton. Inside the office, the father of Sergeant Shughart refused to shake Clinton's hand, then look him in the face and calmly told him that he was responsible for his son's death, that it was for no purpose, that he was not fit to be President, and not fit to be Commander in Chief.
Clinton was visibly shocked, amazed, and momentarily speechless. It is revealing that he was surprised that the man should feel that way. Clinton really doesn't think the way most people do, seeming to lack a sense of personal responsibility. After a brief, awkward silence, Clinton caught his breath. Becoming angry, he turned to the mother of the dead hero and said, "What's he jumping on me for? I didn't kill the kid!"
