Perky is not pleased. She peaked on Day 1.

She's tried sitting on the desk and cheezy graphics at the end of the show....

When I saw her sitting on the desk, I knew CBS and Katie had lost not only the ratings war, but their collective minds as well.

Well, look who's running CBS :)

I said months ago that her nipples were the only thing that could save her.

Please, save me the image of that. I don't watch her show anyway, but that would not be anything to make me start watching.

I'm deeply saddened.

Does anybody have a clip of that? That would be priceless. What was she doing, a human interest segment or something? I'd love to know what she was imparting at that moment.

How long before the braless look with soft aweaters and thin blouses comes into play?

Is it sinful to watch Primer Impacto on mute? Maybe I'll ask the imam.

She sat on the desk, but it was while wearing pants.

CBS needs to wise up and figure out that there is only one reason why people tune in to see Katie Couric.

They need to take away the world's largest anchor desk and bring in a couch. Or a "Paula Zahn desk."

I keep seeing this -- so much so that I'm not sure it's intended as a joke anymore. Is it really, truly conceivable that in a day and age where the internet can provide me in 10 seconds with girls having sex with horses, hermaphroditic midgets, and Chinese lesbians (or so a friend told me :))that there is even one single, breathing human being in the world who would watch a TV show to see some legs? Is this remotely possible? You can always to to the mall and see 10,000 pairs of female legs (not over the hill like Katie, either). What gives with this line of reasoning?

"Next Week: Hugo Chavez as Guest Anchor!"

And after that, a seance with Che Guevara.

The weather on Univision.

I admit we're probably not talking about legs.

By "fuzzy cheeks" I would assume you mean her special colonosopy?

Infobabe legs are sexy. I can't really can't explain it any better than that.

Now, with that said, most of these ladies have more than their legs to bank on. They're good at reading the news, or they have a great personality, or they are just plain fun to watch. A lot of the ladies on Fox News are beautiful but are worth watching for more than just their legs.

The only thing Katie has going for her are her legs. And they've gone bye-bye now that she is under the impression she is a serious journalist. Therefore, no ratings.

ABC got the messgae. They are moving towards the middle which means they are starting to get more viewers.

The 9/11 movie helped. I want to see Katie ridden off into the sunset. (Add your own joke here)

"You will go down in history as the most short lived show on CBS."

Hmm.. I think the McLean Stevenson show might last longer.

I do not think her legs are great, they are too muscular in the calves. I am older now, but my legs were what I consider attractive, slender but not skinny calves, small ankles. I always looked good in a dress and heels. Excuse my conceit!
As I said, I am much older now, but my legs still look good in a dress and heels.
