Watching TV in India. Breaking news reports that three have confessed, and claim they trained in Pakistan with Mohammad Atta (9/11 fame!). Huge news item here in India. India wants to talk to FBI to see if there is a larger link here.
Let me see if I can find a channel you might be watching.
Darn, I lost the tv links...will check the online news.
That sort of confession is *such* an enormous deal that there must be evidence to support it.
Should the bombers lead us to hard evidence, the scope of Al Qaeda's activities will be revealed on a very large scale.

"Breakthrough in Mumbai blasts case: Authorities"
Sunil Singh, Prasad Kathe
Watch story
Wednesday, September 20, 2006 (Mumbai):
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Authorities have claimed they have nearly cracked the Mumbai train blasts case.
Just when it was beginning to appear that the Mumbai train blasts would go down as one of the great unsolved mysteries, claims of a breakthrough came from the highest level.
"We have got some vital leads and we are close to a breakthrough. Within the next 8 to 10 days everything will become clear," said R R Patil Deputy CM, Maharashtra.
The details of the breakthrough are still unclear. But from the information already available, central to cracking the case is the narco-analysis tests done on the accused, especially on key suspects Faizal Sheikh and his brother Muzzamil.
Faizal, who lived in Bandra, has been described as the recruiting agent for the Lashkar e Tayyaba for Mumbai and Maharashtra.
The two used their third brother Rahil, who is based in London, to communicate with Azam Cheema, the Lashkar head in PoK, for recruiting and commissioning the blasts.
Extreme caution
Cheema organised the funding for the blasts through Rizwan Dawre, based in Saudi Arabia, who sent the money to Faizal in Mumbai."
What channel are you watching?
Is it in English or have English subtitles?

"THE BIG BREAKTHROUGH: The blasts were carried out by the LeT and funded by the al-Qaeda."
Full Coverage: July 11 bombings
Mapping terror: Mumbai 7/11
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "New Delhi/Mumbai: Claiming a breakthrough in the 7/11 Mumbai blasts investigations, Mumbai police have traced a 9/11 link to the Mumbai blasts that claimed almost 200 lives and rattled India's business capital.
The police claim the Mumbai train blasts were funded by terrorist outfit al-Qaeda and that some of the accused in the 7/11 case had trained with the prime accused of the World Trade Centre attacks.
The blasts were carried out by Lashkar-e-Toiba, they claim. These revelations are based on hard evidence collected by the Anti-Terrorism Squad and investigators over the last two months.
The details, available exclusively with CNN-IBN, reveal that at least three of the accused in the Mumbai blasts had trained with the prime accused of the World Trade Centre attacks in New York on Septmeber 11, 2001 - the deadliest terror attack in world history that killed about 3,000 people.
Sources in the Maharashtra Government have also confirmed that:
The leader of the Al-Qaeda group that carried out the 9/11 operation, Mohammad Atta, had interacted and trained with at least three of the men who carried out 7/11 serial bombings in Mumbai. The interaction took place in a terror training camp in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in 2000.
Investigators claim there is evidence to prove that the funding came from Al-Qaida sources and was routed through Hawala channels from Dubai.
Investigators also claim to have fresh evidence about the 9/11 conspiracy.
The Maharashtra government now says it is in a position to share this information with the FBI, and is seeking the Centre's permission on the matter."

.....'narco-analysis or truth-serum tests'.
Hmmm. Sounds promising.
These more robust interrogation aids are the only way we will get the info out of these scum.
Ooops! I just drifted out the fantasy world of ACLU, The Human Rights Brigade and the Liberati.
