The lead singer spoke to the Vancouver Sun recently, saying, "but if you live in Lubbock, Texas, where I'm from -- you just have one paper and one radio station and unless you're savvy on the Internet, that's it for you. If Bush said get a gun and kill an Arab, they would do that."
It's a comment that isn't sitting well with some Lubbockites.

Something about her comment reminds me of Tom Cruise trying to explain the field of psychiatry to Matt Lauer. "Well, no, I've never read anything written by Freud, but I did read the Scientology pamphlet about him over 200 times..."

Yes, she actually said they didn't need country music fans anymore b/c they were going to cross over into pop, etc.
They actually thought they were morphing into the next iteration of the Beatles or something.
Wow, what a shock it will be when they find out country music won't take them back and the pop/rock world elites are only using them for their politics.
