The question: If real estate tanks, will stocks follow? Or will the market ignore housing? Or maybe — just maybe — will a decline in housing trigger a rise in stocks? It's something you really ought to think about if you're trying to figure out where to put your money.

The housing hoopla is overstated. there will be a mild reduction but not serious enought to make a real problem. Why would anyone quote MSNBC? It is a virtual nonentity with less viewers than several well watched local cable access channels.

I remember saying back then that we were at risk of another great depression, or worse. Even I cringed when I typed it, but I know how people just don’t believe the mistakes (and consequences) others experience can happen to us.

It is happening worse than I really believed. I woke up this morning and felt like I’m in germany and it is February 28th, 1933. I just grabbed a paper and the headline story is that some “Communist” apparently burned down the Reichstag.

Yeah, I’m probably being over-dramatic. Again.
