In about a week, CBS will have replaced her giant desk with a couch.
When that doesn't work, they will whack her from 6:30 PM and ask her to report for duty on the CBS Early Show.

It looks like Katie is holding on to the 80 year olds. They probably haven't figured out yet that Bob Schieffer isn't coming back.

Yeah, that was her high water mark. Her career peaked when she had a camera shoved up her ass as a ratings stunt. Maybe she needs to put on her old cheerleader outfit and deliver the news in a more perky way?
To: Izzy Dunne
You'll have to get her head out of the way.

I'd just as soon watch Trent Lott in his cheerleader outfit read the news.

So, from one day to the next, CBS lost 190k viewers. ABC GAINed 320k, and NBC GAINed 80k.
More people watched the Big 3 news, but fewer of them watched CBS. That has to doubly hurt.

Of course the elephant in the room is the fact that fewer eyeballs are watching ALL THREE of them put together...

Some serious advice for her: she should go into a regular talk show format like Letterman or Oprah. She sucks at doing hard news stories, but is better at casual chit-chat with celebrities.
