'THE DEVIL CAME TO THE UN YESTERDAY... Bush, I have the feeling you are going to live the rest of your days as a nightmare... We need a psychologist to analyze Bush... YANKEE IMPERIALISTS GO HOME'...
Bush invokes Godwins rule and shuts off Chavez' microphone.
Well you shouldn't be surprised. The UN is nothing but a club for Third World despots and dictators. The General Assembly is a truly a rabble. The UN spends our money and curses and condemns us all the while...we need to get out of the UN and get the UN out of the US.
also Shell is Dutch(collaborators), Citgo is venezuelan, lukoil is russians(arm terrorist and block US in security matters)
Bp is a british ally
Chevron/texaco USA
Exxon/mobil USA
Conoco/phillips USA IRRC.
Thanks for the ping!
Of course they are props...but oil is his mainstay and even though the poor are still poor (and gowing) there is not enough being done to reduce the world's oil fixation.
Quoting one analyst: "If you look behind the façade, what you have is a country in which poverty really hasn't been reduced very much. Most of what he has done is handouts to the poor, but no real long-term investment decisions have been made. Oil production is down from where it was ten years ago. PVDSA [Petroleos of Venezuela, the state- run oil company], which was once one of the best-run oil companies in the world, is no longer very well run. And Chavez has been purchasing oil in European markets to meet his forward contracts. So that doesn't give you a very healthy picture of the economy.

"I'm also astonished that he got such applause."
I'm not..I consider the source of the applause..
The UN is full of countries run by petty dictators and thugs.
LOL!
I have only one question: why is this lunatic still alive??
Where's the outrage from our politicians?!? I haven't seen any American politician speak up about this! WTH is going on here?!? Man I'm disappointed at our elected officials today.
I was expecting him to take off his shoe and bang it on the podium.
It appears that our leaders' response to Hugo's assertions is to "not dignify his remarks." Well, if our leaders aren't offened, I am. I call for a boycott of everything Venezuelan. EVERYTHING. Stall your cars at Citgo. Sit for 15 minutes and wait for another Freeper to take your place. Shut them down. Don't know how to get national support. Let's start here.
"I'm also astonished that he got such applause."
How about the laughter? We can not be astonished, we must be afraid at the way the world despises America, not just Bush.
Or...
"Thanks for that question David (Gregory). No, we have nothing to say about the apparent explosions in Venezuela last night. Our people are looking into it, scanning satellite images as we always do in threat analysis. Our hearts go out to the Venezuelans. As to your second question about the death of President Chavez, as I said our hearts go out to the Venezuelan people and we hope for a prompt and fair election."
The funny part is that we actually aren't threatening Government intervention like they would be if someone dished one of their heroes. We just see what a juvenile he is. In fact on one of the threads over there someone actually put into words the perfect analogy. Hugo Chavez is a media hog only. He is befriending the Iranian Pres only because he knows it will get him publicity. He is a juvenile looking for attention.
The prez should say: "Excuse me while I bury this cloven hoof in your rectum!"
That fat disgusting PIG_FACED Hugo will get his due. His fun in the sun is now but the real Devil is his buddy...we know what he does to his own.
Who cares if fat little Hugo pokes fun at Bush. We poke fun at Hugo all the time. And he deserves all of it.
He could have chosen a more appropriate forum than the U.N., however.
That's funny, Hugo, but Bush looks nothing like your daddy.
