This actually helps Republicans alot. It motivates the base to turn out despite the GOP's horrible job over the past few years and it outrages most Americans.Agreed - Democrats need to get out in front of this and condemn these guys are they are going to wake up the republican base.

Rush Limbaugh brought up an interesting point about Sr. Chavez. He is everything the left accuses Dick Cheney of being. He craves power, has extensive interests in oil, and is as corrupt as they come.

WTF?! Excuse my ignorance, but why is this asshole permitted on US soil? Who the hell controls who comes into the United States. Can't the White House give orders to refuse entry to its enemies? Or at least give them a good spanking with a wiffle bat before they are turned around?

That's the important question. How much are Americans willing to pay for gas to ween them off oil from the lunatic nations of the world? Higher oil prices will make more expensive North American operations become much more attractive.

Yeah, but could you imagine the hell they'd raise then?? They are all over the place lamenting about how "Bush refuses to meet with Amedijhan" and that he is being childish in not doing so.
I cannot believe some of these people can call themselves Americans. Let's just call a spade a spade.

My God. What sort of Alice of Wonderland universe am I in? If we had the chance of having that Iranian grease bag in our hands wouldn't we just send him to one of those CIA prisons and chain whip whatever information we need out of him? TALK to this guy. Are you saying there are Americans who actually want us to talk to Amedijhan. I can understand Eurotrash UN types having this line, but not even a Democrat would be so insanely idiotic?

Yes..the whole CITGO thing is bothersome. I never buy it either but it's still around.
From their website:
"CITGO is owned by PDV America, Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A., the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Venezuela, through PDVSA, has made substantial investments in CITGO, allowing CITGO to grow dramatically and become a major player in the worlds energy market."
Even worse from commondreams.org:
"Looking for an easy way to protest Bush foreign policy week after week? And an easy way to help alleviate global poverty? Buy your gasoline at Citgo stations.
And tell your friends.
Of the top oil producing countries in the world, only one is a democracy with a president who was elected on a platform of using his nations oil revenue to benefit the poor. The country is Venezuela. The President is Hugo Chavez. Call him the Anti-Bush."

Praise that! I drive a taxi in New York city and you cannot believe the absolute hell and disruption this effin useless corrupt POS called the UN cause the city. Tons of businesses losing money, traffic stopped to a standstill (I was caught in traffic for TWO hours yesterday because of that Iranian slimy POS), cops forced to work double shifts, people unable to get to work for DAYS, airlines delayed, tax money drained, all so these effin punk bastards can get police escorts which closes down streets, all so they can be treated like Kings. It`s ridiculous, they want a UN, flush it down to France, or a similar toilet if I had my way.
