UPDATE

Construction of the new Yankee stadium is coming along on schedule. They are now in the process of digging a huge hole for the foundation.

Ever since the trees came down, my view of the Bronx has openned up considerably on the approach road to the new stadium. Of course it will close up again, once the stadium starts to go up.

This area of the Bronx, in fact most of the Bronx, was luxury living in the late 18th and early 20th century. There are beautiful, though run down, classical apartments in the area.
