Worshippers coming out of services at Londons Westminster Cathedral today were greeted by a gang of Islamists, reports Joee Blogs - a Catholic Londoner.
As we came out about 100 Islamists were chanting slogans such as Pope Benedict go to Hell, Pope Benedict you will pay, the Muja Hadeen are coming your way, Pope Benedict watch your back, and other hateful things.
Why does their "god".... and/or their god's name... or their god's "prophet" need to be defended at all...
Can't their "god"... make himself known -- and fight for his own reputation with signs and wonders...
Maybe their "god" is asleep.... the muzzies should pray and cry out louder... to see if he will awaken and defend them....
Shades of Mt Carmel....
Amazing.... simply amazing...
The secret to an understanding of Islam is the word "politics". As long as the Sharia courts work better than the civil courts, and the mullahs require nothing more than that you wash your hands and arms with invisible water, most Moslems will go along with it.
Best bet on destabilizing Islam is convincing these guys to adopt the Uniform Commercial Code developed in the United States. That's an act that can almost guarantee that everybody gets rich.
Time for the rest of the world to begin protesting evil at their mosques.
sorry. there they are. westminster cathedral buttresses.
Are masks/face veils/face coverings legal in Britain? Just curious :)
Just cowards hiding.
An excellent point. Normally, God defends the believers, not the reverse. And defending can mean giving them the strength to go through martyrdom and be sacrificed for the truth. Not among Muslims, though, who have such a feeble god it needs to be "defended" by veiled nutcases.
Oh, I see - they had their backs to the cathedral and were facing the press! Thanks for the clarification.
/sarcasm
Medieval and Renaissance Christian and secular artists had no religious restrictions regarding depictions of Mohammed, and were free to show his face and body in their entirety.
This picture is of an early Renaissance fresco in Bologna's Church of San Petronio, created by Giovanni da Modena and depicting Mohammed being tortured in Hell.
The fresco is in an inaccessible part of the church and is now only visible at an angle from a distance; this old black-and-white image is one of the few official photos ever taken that shows a straight frontal view of the figures.
This is NYC's, last I knew anyway :)
Anti-Mask: New York Penal Law § 240.35(4)
SUMMARY New Yorks anti-mask law criminalizes the wearing of masks or disguises by three or more persons in a public place unless done in connection with a masquerade party or like entertainment, after obtaining a permit to wear masks from the police or other appropriate authorities. The courts have defined like entertainment as social gatherings, dances, andperformances that involve masks or costumes, Under the current law, wearing a bandana tied around ones face falls within the scope of the mask prohibition. The courts have held that the anti-mask law furthers the important governmental interest of deterring violence and facilitating the apprehension of wrong-doers who seek to hide theiridentity. Since 2001, both the New York City Criminal Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals have held that the anti-mask law is not overly broad or facially unconstitutional. Moreover, both courts have rejected all case-specific challenges that the law was unconstitutional as applied.....
"What's with the masks? Why do Muslim men cover their faces? Is this the GQ version of a male burqah?"
Probably because they arrested a bunch of the brats last time. Funny how they're calling others evil when they're hiding from the law.
"What's with the masks? Why do Muslim men cover their faces?"
Standard police tactics for dealing with this kind of protest is to avoid piling in and escalating things unless necessary. But they will get everything on film and anyone identified as having committed an offence will get a '4am knock' in a few days time.
