I completely misread the title, and thought this article was about parents kidnapping a daughter to KEEP her from having an abortion. (Which I think has happened before?? I can't remember).
Completely CREEPY story. I wonder what the daughter originally planned, and plans now, after this?

They showed the car on a Boston TV station...from the front.
I was hoping they'd show the back so I could see if they had a Kerry bumper sticker. Probably did.

WARNING! Lib RATS will use this! They will say, "If abortions are made to be illegal, there will be many more 'back alley abortion bars' for parents like this to take their kidnapped daughters to."
To: raccoonradio
From reading this story, I'm inclined to believe the girl; if the cops hadn't believed her story after interviewing the "parents," they wouldn't have arrested them.

After disclosing to her parents that she was pregnant, a 19-year-old Maine girl was allegedly bound with rope and duct tape by the parentsBarn door, horse, etc.
To: raccoonradio
Doesn't really seem as if they thought their plan all the way through.

I don't know the make of the car, but the report was on WHDH-TV 7 in Boston. I don't believe the story has made
their site yet but it was on WBZ-TV's site, and on some
Portland ME stations. One site said that ME authorities
also plan to charge the parents, as well as those
in Salem NH (on Mass. border; again, they were heading to NY
ultimately).
Am picturing them dragging the daughter into the abortion clinic, all tied up...
To: raccoonradio
Kidnapping their daughter so they could kill their grandchild. No wonder their name means combat in German.
To: raccoonradio
She is 19 and, therefore, over the age of consent. Why is she still living at home? Why do the parents think that they still should have control over her and her reproductive choices?
