Latest Rasmussen poll - President surging to 47%

Forty-seven percent (47%) of American adults approve of the way that President Bush is performing his job. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove. Those are by far the best numbers for the President since mid-February.

Oh! He just said both...back to back...and notice he didn't see we need to secure the border. He just said we should provide "more money." No way he's serious about securing the border. Don't know why, but he's not.

And then, of course, there is the matter of how sick and twisted they have to be to actually wish for hurricanes.That's all they have. They certainly can't pray for hurricanes.

Amen to that. Was watching Fox news this morning and they were talking about a poll that asked "If you were voting today, would you vote Republican or Democratic?" The results were a dead heat. Now I am no big believer in polls, but this one has got to be driving the DUmmies nuts. If President Bush continues making himself more publicly visible, and doing press conferences, and just being himself, then I am very optimistic for November.
