Neither O'Donnell nor ABC has apologized
ABC's Rosie O'Donnell told a nationwide audience this week that "radical Christians" are the same as radical Muslims who piloted hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers, who chop off the heads of individuals and who bomb innocent children in suicide attacks. O'Donnell made her comments as host of ABC's "The View."
"Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state," O'Donnell said. She had been saying that America was attacked "not by a nation." She continued: "And as a result of the attack and the killing of 3,000 innocent people, we invaded two countries and killed innocent people." Even her liberal co-hosts were shocked by her comments.
Co-host Joy Behar protested that Christians are not trying to impose mass murder on America. "This group (radical Muslims) is threatening to kill us." Replied O'Donnell: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries. True or false?"
O'Donnell was saying there is no difference between the radical Muslims who kill in the name of Allah and Bible-believing Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus.
Neither O'Donnell nor ABC apologized for the comments. Had she made similar comments about minorities or homosexuals, there would have been an apology, and she would have probably been fired.
The message from ABC is that bashing Christians is acceptable, even comparing them with murderers who kill in the name of Allah.
I heard a Muslim explain that gay sex itself is not necessarily against the teachings of Islam. If any sort of affection is involved, then it is bad. But if it is simply done for gratification's sake, then no problem.
He went on to say that lesbian sex is the worst of the worst...since women aren't supposed to enjoy sex at all.
So Rosie is in major trouble in the eyes of the Radical Islamists.
Just remembered where I heard that, one of Mark Gabriel's books, he actually converted from Islam to Christianity. He had to change his name to protect himself. But hey, radical Islamist and Christians are just the same!

Let's put her in the room with a group of radical christians and a group of radical muslims. Ask her which one she want's us to give the butcher knife and video camera to.

You might want to further elaborate this comment....considering what the Anglican British did to Catholics in both England and Ireland and Scotland, for just one example.

We are in a war with Islamic fascism. Rosie and her carpet munchng friends (maybe there is a better term for St. Michael Moore) are irrelevant. Check out the ratings.

Well, if Rosie ever finds herself in the hands of the "radical Muslim terrorists" who aren't especially fond of lesbians, she would be hollering at the top of her big old lungs for the U.S. military to rescue her fat butt and save her obscenity spewing head. Christians wouldn't look so bad to her then. Television La-La Land keeps promoting Rosie O'Donnell, but we don't have to sit and watch and listen to her big mouth. She can forget ramming her "homosexuality" down the throats of Bible believing Christians; she's just mad that they don't approve of that behavior and don't wish to embrace and promote it in the least. Freedom of speech for Rosie and no one else it seems.

Except, of course, that whole "loving you neughbor" versus "blowing up your neighbor" thing.....Other than that, they are the same.....

I'll have to drive a 500-round trip to vote in November but this Republican will hit the road when the time comes. Anyone who believes that punishing the Republicans is worth allowing the Rats to win is, as we say in these parts, too dumb to grunt.
Fifty years ago Rosie would have simply been another mediocre overweight woman working at some minimum wage job. I think most conservatives here in FR are simply amazed, or dismayed, at how such mediocrity continues to succeed in what is supposed to be a capitalistic system. Just my guess.

Yeah me and the Baptists down the street are busy building bombs in my basement (sarcasm). We are going to get those infidels. We are going to make them profess their faith in Christ, but wait they wouldn't be Christians anyway. You have to choose to be a Christian. I think we have modern example of conversion at the point of a sword-Steve Centani. How about the fact that Christianity is outlawed in so called moderate Saudi Arabia?
