PARIS (Reuters) - Deputy al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has urged a militant Algerian Islamist group to punish "Crusader nation" France, even though it vehemently opposed the U.S.-led war in Iraq, a newspaper said on Thursday.
The Le Figaro daily cited a security expert who had reviewed the entire tape, released on Monday, in which Zawahiri called on the Algerian GSPC group to become "a bone in the throat of the American and French crusaders".
He also urged the GSPC -- the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat -- to sow fear "in the hearts of the traitors and the apostate sons of France" and to crush the "pillars of the Crusader alliance".

For all the jokes we like to make about France, this is pretty vile coming from alqaida. France bends over backwards to accomodate Islamofacists and this is their reward. Maybe appeasement isn't the best option.

I certainly hope France wakes up and fights back.

It really needs to reconsider its immigration policy.

The Left relentlessly pushes the story that the Islamic world hates the US because of it's presence in Iraq, but reality keeps getting in the way.

Appeasement and showing weakness in the face of terrorism...
As Dr. Phil would say, "How's that working for you?".

The French are slowly becoming less accomodating to the Mohammedans.

They are waking up to this threat faster then we are.

    Good. Now we're talking.

Reuters yet again mistakenly labeling global terorism as being caused by the war in Iraq. 9/11 preceded Iraq as did many other acts of terrorism. The MsM seems to think that if they keep repeating a lie it will become true. Also note France is labeled as a 'crusader' nation.

If true, then those who keep harping on the U.S. should look at this and shudder! France has been one of the biggest butt-kissers of the Islamofascists and look at how they are rewarded.

France bends over backwards..... france is france, and it's not about appeasement..appeasement means "make a deal"make nice nice..Islamicfascist want you to convert or die...the sooner the world realizes this simple fact...and we deal with it, the better. France I believe would be the first NATION to convert to Islam....overnight..

We are constantly told how media savvy AQ is. Why would they push on France. The answer is because they can't help it. They are demon possessed.
To: Kitten Festival
The islamofascists show a distinctive trait of rewriting history to serve their current hatred. OK, maybe it's not that distinctive since liberals in general do it also.

    al-Queda is not stupid..

They saw what happened when they knocked down a couple of buildings in the U.S. while we have a Texan for President --- the U.S. knocks down two Islamic nations.

They'll attack the French - and the WORSE that will happen is the French women will invite them to bed.. They'd love to sleep with a winner for a change.
