Rush Limbaugh Live Thread Thursday 09-14-06

Perhaps the Political Suicide Club Conservatives might want to consider this. In all the political wet dream fantasizes that "Conservatives win by losing" what do they think happens to their slim chances of taking BACK the Congress if the Democrats follow up this with a reinstitution of the Fairness Doctrine?

The Fairness Doctrine would totally destroy Conservative Talk Radio. Without talk Radio the Conservative ability to win the Congress back goes from slim to nonexistent. This wacko wild butt guess that by losing the Congress the Republicans would be "forced" to more to the right is the dogma of political Know Nothings. This "idea" shows a complete ignorance of the powers of incumbency and the very real damage Democrats could do even if by some miracle they only held the Congress 2 years.

Democrats Call on News Networks to Balance Stories TVweek ^ | September 13, 2006 | Ira Teinowitz

Posted on 09/13/2006 3:36:55 PM CDT by 300magnum

Top Democratic congressional leaders are complaining to network and cable television news executives that the networks are giving the party short shrift in national security stories.

"Until now, there has been a complete absence of balance in the news coverage of national security issues," House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. and Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said in letters sent yesterday to top news executives at NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox News Channel and CNN.

What the heck is that song about? At least 99Luft Ballons was understandable and you knew it was a anti-war song.

I like it when the POTUS talks like he means it. He should not just say "NO" but "HELL NO!

Mark Levin has done "Maurice the liberal" for some time, but lately he hasn't. I thought maybe all the new stations would be a good reason why he did it last night. It's very funny when the callers play along, but lib listeners just don't "get" it!

Liberals complain that police and the military are ineffective at controling crime and violence, and that they are too brutal and that they cost too much. Who do liberals not criticize?

Osama did have the hots for Whitney, Rush. I agree -- clean her up and have her walk through those upper Pakistan protected towns. Give her the cutest donkey to pull.

Osama Wanted to Always Love Whitney Houston

By Scott Ferguson

Monday, August 21, 2006

Why not start of the week with one of the most unusual stories in a long time? It's late summer, Mondays should be full of weird news. How weird? Any entertainment story that features Osama Bin Laden is weird enough, but add Whitney Houston to the mix? We may have a candidate for weirdest story of the year.

According to reports, Kola Boof, a Sudanese poet/novelist who alleges that Osama Bin Laden kept her as a sex slave after raping her a decade ago, also claims in her autobiography Diary of a Lost Girl that Bin Laden thought that Whitney Houston was the beautiful woman alive and wanted to make her one of his wives. Osama Bin Laden may not have danced to "I Want to Dance With Somebody" but he did want to make Whitney Houston his wife, even if it meant whacking Bobby Brown.

The Celebrity Cafe reports that Kola Boof writes about the whole Whitney Houston obsession, "He told me Whitney Houston was the beautiful woman he'd ever seen. The author goes on to say that "Osama kept coming back to Whitney Houston. He asked if I knew her personally when I lived in America. I told him I didn't." The book also claims that Osama Bin Laden discussed having Bobby Brown killed so he could get closer to Whitney Houston like "it were a normal thing to have women's husbands killed."

The Daily Mail had some more excerpts from Kola Boof's Diary of a Lost Girl about the bizarre obsession that Osama Bin Laden had with Whitney Houston, excerpts that will also appear in Harper's Bazaar, with the author writing "He said that he had a paramount desire for Whitney Houston, and although he claimed music was evil he spoke of someday spending vast amounts of money to go to America and try to arrange a meeting with the superstar. It didn't seem impossible to me. He said he wanted to give Whitney Houston a mansion that he owned in a suburb of Khartoum. He explained to me that to possess Whitney he would be willing to break his colour rule and make her one of his wives. Whitney Houston's name was the one that would be mention constantly. How beautiful she was, what a nice smile she has, how truly Islamic she is but is just brainwashed by American culture and by her husband Bobby Brown, whom Osama talked about having killed, as if it were normal to have women's husbands killed."

Kola Boof also claims to have found copies of Star and Playboy magazine in Osama Bin Laden's briefcase. And, in a story that could only get weirder, The Celebrity Cafe also reports that Kola Boof's book claims that Osama Bin Laden was also a fan of The Wonder Years, Miami Vice, and MacGyver. Maybe there's a commentator spot open on the next edition of I Love the 80s.
