Senator Allen's campaign has released a new ad setting the record straight about Jim Webb and Ronald Reagan.
You can view it at You Tube.
New Allen campaign ad.
The gloves are off.
Hope to see it in N. VA. Haven't seen an ad for Allen up here for a while. I'm really hoping he doesn't pull a Kilgore and just write off N. VA.
I like it. Mr. Webb is a garden variety Democrat - and that's all.
Good for Senator Allen. Kick his ass, George!!!
Oh my, being a bit impolite here. Sorry.
Dumb move on Webbs part.
You gotta love that one.
He can't write off N. VA. The demographics can't be ignored. I wasn't aware that Kilgore wrote it off. Fairfax County went for Kerry in 2004. Unfortunately, N. VA is trending Dem, an ominous development for the Commonwealth.
Trust me. This is only the begining.
Jimmy Webb is NOT having a good week.
I think it was a home run: you can't "focus" on seven different topics in such a short ad. There'll be more!
"Jimmy Webb is NOT having a good week."
LOL! Well then, Bring It On!
How would you like us to start trashing Harold Ford's republican opponent???
We didn't see any Kilgore ads and the local talk radio couldn't get anyone from his campaign to return their calls. The most I saw from Kilgore came from the local Repub party - nothing from the actual campaign. Kaine on the other hand sent mailers, e-mail updates (I never signed up for), radio, TV, and print ads.
I know a few people who didn't vote for Kilgore because he very obviously had conceded N. VA.
I saw my first "Warner for President 2008" bumper sticker today - on a Toyota with Webb & Moran stickers too. She was on 110, right behind the Pentagon.
well I would like too view it but the 'Macacas' in the IT department
1) block it with the firewall
and
2) never gave me speakers
I saw plenty of Kilgore TV ads here in McLean. The problem was that Kilgore was a poor candidate. He lacked a consistent message and was a poor debator. Kaine ate him up. VA is a strong Rep state, but the Northern Virginia demographics are changing. With two of the top three richest counties in the nation, Loudon and Fairfax, the Dem lawyers and lobbyists are moving in and changing the political landscape.
He's been running one in the DC area that is just treacly, standard nonsense. I think I like him, but his current ad sounds like one of Josh Rales ads. (For those of you not in the DC area, 1. Congratulations, 2. Rales was a Democrat millionaire who just wasted 5 million dollars pushing liberal pap on television to get the Democrat nommination for senator from Maryland. A seriously empty suit.)
I've heard Allen over the years on the local stations and he sounds really good. Cool. Not Bob Ehrlich, but up there.
Lately, he's gotten defensive and apologetic. He does need to stand up straight. I know he can.
I live in the DC area in MD and I see Allen ads all the time, so he's not.
