Clinton aides had hand in Dubai deal

Clinton advisers' outside lobbying work for firm to take over defense plants accents their awkward position

WASHINGTON -- In the spring, when Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was denouncing the Dubai Ports World deal, a consulting firm run by her top advisers was quietly lobbying for a Dubai takeover of two U.S. defense plants, Newsday has learned.

The Glover Park Group, whose principals include Clinton insiders Howard Wolfson, Joe Lockhart and Gigi Georges, was paid about $100,000 to help the government-owned Dubai International Capital Corp. in its acquisition of the British engineering firm Doncasters Group Ltd.

it's another one of those "I don't know how I made that much money"...(pork bellies)...the "vast right wing conspiracy" whine is about to reappear.

I have a theory to watch for: Somethime in the near future
a prearranged scandal with the hildabeast will surface. I say prearranged because it will be out of her camp. She of course will be able to absolved any wrong doing after many headlines and media coverage.
Thus allowing her shelter from ANY and all questions in regards to any hard questions she would not be able to avoid as a presidential candidate.....(back to that vast right wing stuff)..their only "picking on me" (sympathy vote)...soon we're going to hear more and more "dirty politics" stories. The dirtiest in years...all contrive of course to give the hildabeast the cover SHE NEEDS.....

2008 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is expanding her complaint about foreign companies owning U.S. ports - and now says a 1999 deal to let a Chinese company takeover the ports at each end of the Panama Canal was a mistake.

According to the New York Observer, she then declared: "Well, just because it's been happening doesn't mean we should let it continue."

Mrs. Clinton neglected to mention, however, that it was her husband who approved the deal in question, when the Chinese company, Hutchison Whampoa, sought to buy the Panama Canal's ports
