He looks Islamic to me as well, but he describes himself as "Indian."

Yeah, I'd say "dot" versus "feather"...

The 3 guns used by 25 year old Kimveer Gill - Montreal's Dawson College Shooter - were legally registered. What does this tell you about the effectiveness of the $1.5 billion gun registry...

Maybe if they spent more money on it? Seems like the last time I checked, nobody could produce an accurate figure- one billion, two billion, maybe three billion, for a program sold to the taxpayers as costing under a hundred million dollars and promoted as "self-financing."

A professional criminal will not register his "tools of the trade" anyway, and a psychopath like this character is a menace whether armed with something that shoots or driving his car.

Until we can predict criminal activity beforehand, the best cure for this kind of problem is someone else with a gun cutting him down before he did too much damage to others.

How does one "look Islamic"? Islam is a religion, not a race or ethnicity. Or do you automatically assume that anyone who is brown is Muslim?

how'd I find it? I searched the name given in the Montreal French press...and came up with that gallery and his myspace (empty) page.

it is curious that under one of the gun photos, there was a post yesterday from a girl in the US asking "can I shoot preppies with you"

"...doing stuff that back when I was that age would have set alarms off all over the place."

Doing stuff like that and I would be grounded until age 21 or so with no TV, no phone calls, extra chores...

"Is this an actual game?"

I don't know, I don't play video games.

Let's check Google.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Super+Columbine+Massacre%22&btnG=Google+Search

Yes, it's a game, according to the Google summary.

I don't believe this "college shooting" story at all. Everyone knows Canada has gun control, so gun ownership by criminals is simply physically impossible. </sarcasm>

I wish someone had reached this kid with some love...but I'm also very glad he won't ever hurt anyone else again.

See post 28. I doubt it will be comedy material (school shootings are not funny) but it will certainly confirm some of your worldview in a big way.

Ever since that girl from Alberta killed her family, they've been going through the pros, and have arrested dozens of people because of what they wrote in their journals (like talking about killing someone), or the pics they got (like holding a gun)

Well, given the gun laws in canada, posting a pic on the web of yourself holding a useful firearm is the Canadain equivalent of an American posting a photo of themselves with a car they stole. Man, these people are dumb.

This makes the Aryan men the greatest warriors of all time.

I beg to disagree, since we American mutts kicked their butts off in two wars. Even the astoundingly good Erich Hartmann (top combat ace ever with over 300 kills in WWII) got shot down by an American, and was arguably not as good as John "40 Second" Boyd, USAF, who was never defeated in any aerial combat, simulated or otherwise, and won every single one in 40 seconds or less.

But then, as I noted earlier, these kids aren't all that smart.

Contrary to what many Americans believe, all guns are not illegal in Canada. Until recently, those guns that are legal needed to be registered, and I think purchasers are subject to a more extensive background check than here. From what I've read at our Canadian sister site, Free Dominion, the gun registry in Quebec was/is run by Quebec, not the Canadian federal government.

The shooter's 3 guns were legal and properly registered in accordance with Canadian firearms laws. A lot good that did.
