America Wins! Randy Graf Beats Huffman in AZ Primary
Team America PAC ^ | 09/13/2006

Posted on 09/13/2006 9:02:08 AM PDT by NapkinUser

Thanks to your help, Team America endorsed candidate Randy Graf beat out establishment candidate Steve Huffman in Arizona's 8th congressional district 43% to 37%. Graf is as strong a candidate you can find, while Huffman is an amnesty supporter. Graf won even though the National Republican Congressional Committee pumped in hundreds of thousands of dollars into Huffman's campaign -- something unheard of in an open primary. If that wasn't bad enough, the ads portrayed pro-amnesty Huffman as tough on border security! Arizona voters were not fooled, and selected a candidate who will secure our borders and enforce our laws. We still need your support to help Randy win the general election, so the fight is not over, but this is a huge victory. READ MORE

On the note this thread was actually about before Dane derailed it

I notice Dane slinked off after hijacking this thread.

It's shameful conduct, but sadly par for the course.

Hah hah hah hah hah

The democrats spent more money on Graf than Tancredo did.

What does he do with all that money he raises?

You're right - I didn't realize that. I guess he/she figured his work was done!

You'd be funny if you weren't such an obvious DNC troll. Your hatred of real conservatives just shows your true stripe.

(Hint: it's yellow...and it runs right across your belly, sport.)

Uh Spiffy are you literate? This thread is a congratulatory press release from Team America(tancredo/bay buchanan PAC).

You're the dope that made the unsupported claim that Team America put Graf "over the top." You don't know what you're talking about and I challenged you to prove it. Here, let me help you again: www.fec.gov Now, tell me how Team America's practical nonexistant contributions to Randy Graf "put him over the top".

The bottom line, and this is proven throughout your entire posting history here, is that you hate conservatives and anyone who advocates border security. And you will use any sort of base smear or unsupported allegation to continue your campaign of hate towards conservatives. It is plain for all to see.

How is it a smear when someone mentions the truth that the DNC targeted Graf's opponent, Huffman, and with Graf's silence and non-denunciation of the DNC tactics, Graf was supporting the DNC meddling in the GOP primary.

The RNC declared "Victory" in Chafee's election...thats as strong a statement as ever. Don't they realize that they are about to lose their own base?!?!

I can understand supporting a RINO incumbent in RI. But I'll be damned if they should be supporting a RINO in an open primary in ARIZONA. I blame McLame and Kolbe.

It's not heard of anymore. The RNC and NRSCC are supporting the likes of Linc Chafee as well. To the GOP Powers-that-be, I have only this to say: Shame!! Shame on all your houses!!

Only in your delusions, pal.

Ah, if only you spent as much time and effort wondering why the RNC droids gave their money to a shiftless moron who's as liberal as the garden-variety Democrat.

But nooooo...you and your ilk live to snipe at true conservatives while masquerading as "Republicans."

You'd be funny if you weren't so bloody pathetic.

To: Dane; All

I really did consider pinging you to the live Thread last night Dane. But it was a cordial thread all night and wouldn't have been right to disrupt that.

I must say, though, a part of me was really looking forward to your lost fuse at the news of Graf's win. I don't know if you work for McCain, Matthew Dowd, the WSJournal, whether you are an illegal or Fred barnes himself.

All I know is that seeing dishonest people like yourself exposed when amnesty, and those that support it, get shot down provides quite the entertainment. Since I couldn't view the establishment's face as the returns came in, witnessing your realtime meltdown at the news will have to do.

Graf got an indirect, cash infusion from the DNC, dean, and pelosi and co.

You're complaining about DNC foolishness and stupidity for spending $175,000 boosting a viable true conservative candidate over an open-borders scofflaw?

I hope the DNC wastes even more money. Much, much more.

He even called me a "backstabber" earlier today for simply saying I was glad that Democrat money went to help Graf over Huffmann.

(leaving alone the question of whether that was really the case)

Sorry not to answer sooner; I posted just before I went to work, and worked late. This is from the Evans-Novak Report: Arizona-8: Former State Rep. Randy Graf (R) narrowly won the primary here against the might of the NRCC, as we'd expected. Graf stayed even in the Tucson area with moderate state Rep. Steve Huffman and cleaned up in Cochise County to the East. Huffman was hurt by large DCCC expenditures against him. Graf was aided by a large conservative turnout that appears to have unseated two or three moderate GOP state legislators. Graf begins as a heavy underdog against the Democratic winner, state Sen. Gabbie Giffords (D). Giffords will have a huge advantage in cash, but Graf's big hope is his strength with the grassroots on the immigration issue. Likely Democratic Takeover.

I also think it is funny when you all parrot the lies of amnesty. I am not for amnesty, what I am for is an implementation of a guest worker program, that does not punitively punish businesses that do such good things such as build shelter or grow food. But the amnesty mantra is all you have and you like the democrats uses such a buzz word to scare and keep people in line.

As for Graf, IMO he would do much better following in the foot steps of a person such as Mike Pence and bombastic bridge burner than publicity hound tom tancredo, who in his professional life has either worked in the govt. sector or a non wealth producing think tank, yet wishes to puntively such businesses akin to the democrats for who those businesses hire to do such "evil" things as build shelter, clean toilets, or grow food.

BTW, Graf does not have a cakewalk to the election.

One actual poll, since that's what I'd mentioned, published before the primary, seemed to indicate the district is leaning Dem 50:46 regardless of the candidates.

Excellent! I'd given up looking in the media for the results of this race.

Maybe having the national Republicans put up a little money against conservatives is a good thing for conservatives LOL!
