Because conservatives are only 40% of the government and are hanging on by their fingernails with 10% of "moderates" who only kinda want to fight a war as long as nobody gets upset and who would bolt in a nanosecond if we do anything harsh.

Answer: Conservatives aren't in control.

If this happened under Clinton, we'd be blasting Clinton for being PC and getting Americans killed. True, under Bush it's a lot better, but he's at the top now, and he takes ultimate responsibility for rules of engagement. We can't win against the "religion of peace" (president's words, not mine) like this. This PC garbage is really disgusting me. We can't attack at funerals; we apologize for Abu Ghraib when we should say "Hell yeah we authorized this hazing, and we'll do it again!" When are we going to start fighting and quit policing?

THAT is the question!! President Bush must take off the kid gloves and start fighting this war like he wants us to win. A PC war can't be won. We will lose if things do not change.
