September 13, 2006 -- WASHINGTON - Taliban terror leaders who had gathered for a funeral - and were secretly being watched by an eye-in-the-sky American drone - dodged assassination because U.S. rules of engagement bar attacks in cemeteries, according to a shocking report. U.S. intelligence officers in Afghanistan are still fuming about the recent lost opportunity for an easy kill of Taliban honchos packed in tight formation for the burial, NBC News reported.

Answer: Conservatives aren't in control.
If this happened under Clinton, we'd be blasting Clinton for being PC and getting Americans killed. True, under Bush it's a lot better, but he's at the top now, and he takes ultimate responsibility for rules of engagement. We can't win against the "religion of peace" (president's words, not mine) like this. This PC garbage is really disgusting me. We can't attack at funerals; we apologize for Abu Ghraib when we should say "Hell yeah we authorized this hazing, and we'll do it again!" When are we going to start fighting and quit policing?
Just what the world needs -- another critic.
It was your criticism of alleged non-actions by US which started the conversation and now you are whining about "critics". Lol
It is improper to place quotes around a single word.
It "is"?
Should we start cutting heads off too and mutilating bodies?
Yes
wouldn't be the first time a bad story was put out - backed up by "photos".
I'm gonna withold opinion until a real person admits this - NOT an unnamed source for eth drive by media.
The more I think about this the madder I get. We are asking our soldiers to risk their lives, or sacrifice their lives in some cases and an event like this occurs and we want to play 'fair'. This is why alot of us are losing our will to supoort the Iraq war. We have a President that wants to tap dance and be politically correct. Kill these SOB's before they kill one more of our soldiers.
"I suspect this story is misreported at best. More likely it's complete bunk."
People need to chill until we hear the whole story. Then pass judgment. Looks bad so far, but it is not enough to know the facts from one picture.
The more I think about this, the more I am convinced that people in the military sympathic to the democratic party released this information out of context. We have no idea who is in the photo or any of the context it was taken. The release of this photo at this time was NO accident.
"This will be a key scene in the movie commemorating the path to the next terrorist attack."
Just what I was thinking....looks like something I just saw.....
Don't you think that they followed these guys home? Every one of them?
This is not just a dead body war of attrition. It is a war of intelligence and information.
Wouldn't you want to know where they lived, where they hid, where their weapons caches were?
Duh!
You don't think we followed them home? I submit that our guys are playing Kevin Bacon looking for a particular Big Fish.
This pretty much proves that the US government (not our troops) is not really "AT WAR"!
THAT is the question!! President Bush must take off the kid gloves and start fighting this war like he wants us to win. A PC war can't be won. We will lose if things do not change.
You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!If we don't get serious about this(and forget about The Euro-Weenies and The Lib/MSN),our collective A**is GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
