I have never understood how these ivy league educated, intellectual elite cannot understand simple logic. 9/11 is not the entire body of work of Al Qaida. Therefor Saddam can have ties to Al Qaida while not having ties to 9/11. My 4 year old can understand this but these people cannot.

Tony Snow got it all.

He's intelligent, funny, good looking and has a quick wit.

It's like claiming that germany had nothing to do with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Well, duh!

Actually, Tony Snow hit that one out of the park too on Hannity recently. He related the story of how we all, when little kids, covered our head with a pillow at night when we thought there were monsters under the bed. Well, of course that really wouldn't work and fortunately those monsters were figments of our young imagination. The problem now with some adults is that they still use that same pillow-over-the-head reaction to real monsters, never ourgrew it. Fits right in with our "thank God there are adults in charge."

Tony Snow is the best. He had nice things to say anout Gregory on that same show, though, and the ancient crone too. He's loving his job.

They understand completely.

But must keep up this farce of being objective, while spreading propaganda, and campaigning for the Dems.

That CNN anchor that Snow took to school would have argued the exact opposite today had Clinton been in office.

As they did in the 90's when reporting on Saddam and Sons dangerous national security threats, Iraq WMD, and OBL.

Oh, they understand it. It just doesn't fit their agenda. Make no mistake about their intentions.

Your 4 year old hasn't been to public school yet.

You can take this as a recommendation not to send him to one of those stuck-on-stupid factories.

Shalom.

They understand it, they simply refuse to acknowledge it.

They understand it, it is just that the idea does not support the 'Bush lied' story line.

They have learned that they can say any ridiculous thing and the media will ignore the stupid or untrue parts while repeating it endlessly as though it had merit.

Ok...
To Explain it the simple-minded among us, just use this simple phrase....

"Iraq may or may not have had anything to do with 9/11, but 9/11 has EVERYTHING to do with why we invaded Iraq..."

Precisely, I explained to my 15 year-old that, just as the Germans weren't involved in the attack on Pearl Harbor, we went to war with them anyway and that Pearl Harbor certainly wasn't the only battle of WWII.

Likewise the WOT. Saddam may not have direct involvement in 9/11 but there was a congruence of intent and he certainly bankrolled terror attacks around the world.

I've wondered the same thing, and extended it... Al Qaida is NOT the only terrorist group out there. We're fighting a "war on terror," to use the Whitehouse's words, not a war on Al Qaida (although I agree with Neal Boortz, that "terror" is a tactic, we're fighting against islamofascists).

Simply put, Al Qaida isn't the only terrorist group that's slaughtered Americans.
