The film's director, David Cunningham, is active in Youth With a Mission (Ywam), a fundamentalist evangelical organisation founded by his father, Loren Cunningham. According to its publications, the group believes in demonic possession, spiritual healing and conservative sexual morality.

When do you start with the secular loyalty oaths, BBC?

Has the BBC ever listened to Howard Dean?

Umm, so, umm.. *scratch head* The BBC is supposed to vet filmmakers on their religious and political values? To what purpose? What, does every filmmaker who wishes their films shown on the BBC have to applaud applicatively at a crucifix in urine?

the organisation did not vet film-makers on their political or religious beliefs.

"Are you now, or have you ever been, a Christian?"

Funny I didn't notice any dangerous Christian overtones in the movie.

"...A BBC spokesman said the organisation did not vet film-makers on their political or religious beliefs..."

Note that they say did not vet as opposed to does not vet

Un-freakin' belevible!

"the involvement of the religious right in the project to allege a political plot to blame Mr Clinton for the triumph of Osama bin Laden."

How about that---

"the triumph of Osama bin Laden"

according the vile, leftwing, muslim promoting Guardian.

So did the BBC check out the religious affiliation of the Brit who made the movie about a Bush assassination?

I saw no Christian overtones or points made in "The Path To 9/11" at all. Plenty of Islam though.

The BBC broadcast a controversial docu-drama, The Path to 9/11, this week without realising that it had been made by a member of the US religious right.

Now they are really in deep doodoo with their Moslem overlords.

Why are the british now anti religion?

Has Prince Big Ears now abdicated his position as protector of the faith and gone full atheist?

"A BBC spokesman said the organisation did not vet film-makers on their political or religious beliefs."

What - are they expected to?

Just checking. This is a post 1984 world afterall.

So his film is bad solely because of his religion...

Anti-Christian bigotry is politically correct.
