Although Iger and ABC trimmed as much as thirty minutes of deceptive footage from Sunday's episode of The Path to 9/11,I heard it was more like 60 seconds that got cut.
Don't care anyway. Might have watched it if on anything other than the Alphabet Channels. ABC and CBS have been blocked on my channel list for years. Not like I'm gonna manually push 05 on my clicker

But Clinton IS responsible, at least in part, for the events of 911...and that has nothing to do with anyone who had anything to do with the movie.
That's not to say he created the terrorists, they were out there and hated the US just fine without Clinton, but his inactions and his administration's policies were significant in allowing 911 to happen. Thank you Gorelic, for instance, for your wall of separation of information that hamstrung the intelligence communities.

On this project, a secretive evangelical religious right group long associated with Horowitz, founded by The Path to 9/11's director, David Cunningham, that aims to "transform Hollywood" in line with its messianic vision, has taken the lead. That's great stuff. I wonder if they sacrificed a goat or a virgin when they finished it.

I don't buy this analysis, but even if it were true, so what? Don't conservatives have First Amendment rights?

"If this show gets huge ratings, then ABC will be more likely to produce pro-American movies and TV shows in the future!"
It shouldn't matter what ratings this show got to produce more "pro-American" movies. ABC= American Broadcast Corp.!!!

Of course, only those on the left are allowed to write screenplays. If you're on the right and you write a script, you are suspect.

Yeah. Conservatives were all over the 9/11 commission.

Not only is Nowrasteh an outspoken conservative, he is also a fervent member of the emerging network of right-wing people
This is really a hoot. He announces that hes uncovered Nowarastehs conservatism like hes found out hes a pedophile or Nazi party member.
Dude, untangle your panties. Hes allowed to be both a conservative and a screenwriter. Its kinda legal and all that. Cancel your Disney Gay Day vacation this year, if you're so incensed.

Sid the red Blumenthal is hitlary's little toadie. He worked under her at the White House. Sid on the political/ideological poles on a continuam, is between BelaAbzug to his right, and stalin a tad to his left. It took Sid a long time to come to grips with the reality that communism was a bankrupt idea and he was crushed by the sudden collapse of his beloved soviet union. He and hitlary are still licking their wounds.

So this all boils down to "if you're a Democrat you can make a movie, but if you're a Republican you can't?"

Hey Max, try this on for size.
It's not whether the facts of The Path to 9/11 are correct, it's the seriousness of the charge.

outlining the involvement of that film's screenwriter and director in a concerted right-wing effort to blame former President Bill Clinton for allowing the 9/11 attacks to take place Like such blame would be difficult to place. He was President during the growth of Al Qaeda, he did fail to respond appropriately to attacks on the world trade center, the USS Cole, the US Embassies, etc, etc, etc. Those are facts which exist independently of the "Path to 9-11".
The whole article is obviously damage control spin, nothing more. It even uses the old standby "un named sources". It will be interesting to see what the named sources, such as the producer, the director, and the head of Disney, have to say.
