I think Al Davis should have pressured Iger not to broadcast the game.

Lol, he was a "hero" wasn't he? Actually during the nineties he was screaming about the right things while all the others were just dithering around.

"Iger now bears ultimate responsibility for authorizing the product of a well-honed propaganda operation--a network of little-known right-wingers working from within Hollywood to counter its supposedly liberal bias."
Oh, what an awful, awful, man. He should just be strung up by his toes and horsewhipped for presenting the truth. How dare he. The country simply adores the ego lifting lies of the left. This man had the nerve to blatatantly offend the fantasy lovers. We want, no...we DEMAND our lies back...

I think Al Davis should have pressured Iger not to broadcast the game. It would certainly have helpd us determine if Iger is Compassionate.
That game was ugly with a capital Ug. I was telling my wife tht the Raiders have an all-star team. Of course, it is the 1992 all-star team.

It was intended to end at 10. The only really relevent event was showing how Clinton's lack of response in Somalia led directly to Ben Laden deciding that America was a Paper Tiger and could be attacked with impunity.

Horowitz singled out Clinton's National Security Council Director, Samuel "Sandy" Berger, as especially culpable for allowing the terror threat to fester, casting him as "a veteran of the Sixties 'anti-war' movement" who "abetted the Communist victories in Vietnam and Cambodia." Samuel "Sandy" Berger a.k.a. "The Burglar"

urging him to cancel The Path to 9/11..."
There was no urging. That was a THREAT!

"-- Since the inauguration of Bill Clinton in 1992, Horowitz has labored to create a network of politically active conservatives in Hollywood.
His Hollywood nest centers around his Wednesday Morning Club, a weekly meet-and-greet session for Left Coast conservatives that has been graced with speeches by the likes of Newt Gingrich, Victor Davis Hanson and Christopher Hitchens. --"

Deb; -- Have you now, or have you ever been, a member of Wednesday Morning Club?
Seriously though -- do you know anything about this "nest"? -- Thanks.

Not only is Nowrasteh an outspoken conservative, he is also a fervent member of the emerging network of right-wing people burrowing into the film industry with ulterior sectarian political and religious agendas, like Cunningham.OMG! The horror!

Well, the last 1/2 was a fabrication. Cheney, Rice, and Meyers looked like they were deers in headlights. Therefore, liar Clarke ran the whole thing.
Wonder why he was the only one who gave them account. Could it have been maybe that administration doesn't have loose lips therefore they couldn't get the real facts.

Whatever happened to the liberal montra: "It raises awareness...it gets people talking. And, thats the most important thing"?Liberal: Oh yeah, that. Well, uh, we, want them focusing on the "important" issues. Quick, what's that over there.

Looks like "fabricated" will be the new "IS". Kinda like quagmire.
"Fabricated" is being used to replace "right wing conspiracy"....another word...so broad and diverse, it can't be defined.
Monica was a right wing conspiracy back then according to Hillary. Today, Hillary would say the stories about Bill were "fabricated".
Hillary is trying soooooo hard to make us forget about Monica, Bubba's big lie, the inaction of hubby, it's like a volcano...or a big zit. Poof.....She'll go down in ashes because she's too close to the rim.

Seems to me from 2 nights of watching that Tenent came off as a CYA coward at best, and a complete idiot at worst. I'm torn between the two.
Also, from the second night, thank God for Richard Clarke!! No one else would have thought about the things he did!! Good thing he was there to lead Cheney and Rice around by the nose huh./sarcasm off

I watched a show on the National Geographic channel that pretty much told the exact same story as the Path to 9-11. It even covered the Monica aspect. In fact, I watched it right before "Path" yesterday and wondered why "Path" was even made. It covered everything including the Cole bombing extremely well. The thing is...I first saw it about a year ago.
The one thing about the National Geographic show was it attempted not to cast blame on a specific administration, but to show that both were inept. But in reality the facts spoke for themselves, clearly Clinton blew the opportunity (or had it blown). While Bush was simply bombarded with so many options and vague threats that the manpower didn't exist to follow up on every lead.
But the unmistakeable bottom line. If Clinton would have acted, 9-11 would not have happened. Now it may have been 1-22, or 3-13, but it most certainly would not have put a huge dent in AQ's plans and most likely Sept 11th 2001 would have come and gone without event.

Should have added, I thought Tenent took the worst of it in the film. Probably even worse then Clinton. Makes me agree that everyone on this board that questioned why Bush kept him around so long was dead on. Certainly he looked worse than anyone in the Bush Admin.

...Murty followed her review with a blast e-mail to conservative websites such as Liberty Post and Free Republic on September 1 urging their readers to throw their weight behind ABC's mini-series. "Please do everything you can to spread the word about this excellent miniseries," Murty wrote, "so that The Path to 9/11 gets the highest ratings possible when it airs on September 10 & 11! If this show gets huge ratings, then ABC will be more likely to produce pro-American movies and TV shows in the future!" ....I must surmise this is the problem
