Good that they touched on that! That laptop was REALLY important. And the point that there were actually restrictions against using things like that to prevent attacks, that's just scary.

Yeah, but even Clarke saying "we are at war" seemed like a joke; his character, at least, came off as too dense to even understand the implications of what he was saying. And certainly his actions did not demonstrate any great understanding of the scale of the moment.
Simply ill-informed ... an all too common affliction these days.
