My point is we as a nation were not focusing on Islamic terror. Given Clintons obsession on polls if we had been then he would've been.
Please don't take his as me trying to absolve him of any guilt because I'm not. I'm just saying there's more than enough guilt to go around.

In the original scene, an actor portraying White House terrorism czar Richard Clarke shares a limousine ride with FBI agent John O'Neill and tells him: "The Republicans are going all-out for impeachment. I just don't see in that climate the president's going to take chances" and give the order to kill bin Laden. But in the film aired Sunday, Clarke says to O'Neill: "The president has assured me this ... won't affect his decision-making." O'Neill replies: "So it's OK if somebody kills bin Laden, as long as he didn't give the order. It's pathetic." Another scene in the critics' cut showed O'Neill asking Clarke on the telephone: "What's Clinton going to do (about bin Laden)?" Clarke replies, "I don't know. The Lewinsky thing is a noose around his neck." This was cut entirely from the film that aired Sunday.

I agree with these cuts. And I'm surprised that conservatives would protest this one or that Clintons people would want it cut. I have spent years watching the liberals blame the reason as to why Clinton didnt fight terrorism as hard as he did was because he was "preoccupied" with the congressional investigations (Monica/Paula Jones lawsuit/perjury, etc). It has always been my contention that the investigations had nothing to do with Clintons failure to fight terrorism

I agree. It was more of a case of 'risk' than anything else.

The Clintons have always depended on a rigged game. They investigate to ensure they know the outcome of every event, or use FBI files to guarantee the outcome.

Bill wouldn't dare risk his popularity by having Bin Laden killed. More than anything Bill was afraid that Hillary would dump him. She was prepared to do so when he first ran for President. Just ask Jerry Parks. Oh, you can't. He's dead.

Bill wouldn't do anything to risk his 'popularity'.

It might have jeapordized deals with foreign nationals who would conttribute to the DNC.
It might ruin his chance at the Nobel. It might mean one less blow job.
He might start having to use force to get sex again.

I agree. The editing really doesn't eliminate that much. I'm sure the Clintonoids are still most unhappy with what was aired.

I also agree with those who said that if the Democrats had just shut up and not paid any attention to all of this they'd be better off. It was the third most compelling thing on network television last night without all the political buildup.

I was just now flipping through the channels and MSNBC has been running clips of their live coverage of 9/11. I was quite surprised to see that they ran footage of Palestinians cheering in the streets passing out candy. But Chrissy Matthews was quick to say that Bush was at fault for not meeting with Yasser Arafat.

Perfect example of the incompetence of the Associated Press.

Wahlberg DID'NT say that.

Mahsood (standing next to him) said that.

That is why we need to put the traitors into Internment Camps with their pals al qaeda!

LETTER SENT TO ABC:

I am a Disney stockholder..owning about 1,000 shares of Disney stock.

I want to express my DEEP appreciation to Mr Robert Iger for resisting the attempts to intimidate Disney into cancelling "Path to 9-11" or editing it beyond recognition.

It is my understanding that despite vicious pressure,ONLY ABOUT 1 MINUTE WAS EDITED OUT OF THE 5 HOUR MOVIE.
Way to go Mr Iger!
